I remember my friends went to the STL regional and mentioned there was a guy killing it with VW and I asked them if they could grab me a deck list(I ended up having to work last minute so couldn’t make it). Glad to see the profile here though. One of my friends also got his invite there. Idk if you’re planning on going to the regional there on the 23rd but if you are I’m hopeful for a mirror match.

Aye love to hear it! Glad you found this! A mirror match would be sick, but I probably won't be going to any regionals until towards the end of the year. I'm also out of state so I usually don't make STL anyway; I just happened to plan to be in the area that weekend. Good luck though and hope this helps if it inspired any ideas! I unknowingly built my current vw adventure list is very simular to this but i run droll in the main

Droll in the main is definitely reasonable! Mannadium is so difficult of a matchup that I think it could be justified. At the same time, Lab isn't super difficult to beat. Have you taken it to events and liked Droll a lot over Imperm or Ash?

Foolish burial goods I always run 2 in my builds is a good consistency boost card. You ever think about running crimson dragon and red hot dragon calamity?

I normally run 2 FBG in my standard build and I definitely could've played it in this. But FBG is one of the inferior consistency cards for VW because it's at least a -1 every time. If you're playing majority monsters, I lean towards Small World these days. Or just more Pots. Consistency is one of the things I plan on improving for this build. As far as hot red, I don't think it's good enough because you don't really have the space in the ED + it's fragile to Nibiru. This regional was when Mannadome was popular too so I figured people would be prepared for it. You can check out my response to another comment that asked about Calamity lock; I think it's potentially the best variant in the future but probably not optimal for this event.

@@ZEROTURBO1092 I think if Lancea is out of the format, Small World tends to be a bit better in pure because at least it doesn't go through your Qinglong. It can also sometimes search something that isn't a name. It's a little stronger and a little less consistent because it technically requires set up. If you play Small World though, I'd recommend trying to max out on monsters that you play. It's no good if you don't have monsters in your hand.

Honestly, this Deck is hard to make combo videos for since the rest of your hand pretty much always changes your preferred order, dumps, and searches. I could make a combo video eventually if that's something people are interested in but it wouldn't be THAT helpful since this Deck is difficult and non-linear at times. I know fellow VW player @tcgsam has some virtual world combo videos but I don't think he plays Adventure. Either way, the pure version is very similar it's just a different Extra Deck. If you want Adventure specifically, I'm not sure if it exists but I'm sure there's something out there. I could make one if that's something you really want just reply to this to let me know. Hope I was of some help!

Whats your end board look like?

Honestly every hand has been so variable, that's hard to answer. It's part of the reason you can't just memorize combos with VW; the whole hand affects how you play it out. I'd say average end board is Baronne + Crystal Wing + Tzolkin + Brave Token + Chuche OR Beatrice + Brave Token + Gryphon + Crystal Wing + Tzolkin + Chuche All with proper follow up; Fateful, Dracoback, and Jiji add back and/or Qing in GY. If I draw cracked and go uninterrupted then it's often Lars + CW/Tzolkin + Baronne + Chuche + Token + all follow up. The end board is versatile depending on the matchup though. I will probably play another level 10 (or a lvl 7 👀) going forward in an updated build.

I didn't play Crimson Dragon because I think it's too fragile to Nibiru, Imperm, etc. That's my main complaint. I wouldn't play it right now, but I'm sure eventually it will be a good variant. VW can't comfortably put up a negate under 5 summon AND make two level 12s so pulling off the Crimson Lock is usually risky. I also don't think I owned Crimson Dragon at the time and I didn't have much testing with it. It wouldn't have been great for this event in my opinion though; Mannadome is just a better Crimson Lock Deck and was popular at the time so I'd rather have a different competitive edge that wasn't prepared for.
