Idols is a reality TV show that takes unknown talent and turns it into a limelight sensation.
It gives unknown contestants the chance to sing their way into the hearts and homes of South African fans across the country.
After a grueling audition process contestants perform live in front of the panel of judges made up of Gareth Cliff, Unathi Msengana and Randall Abrahams. The contestants sing their hearts out to try and claim the coveted title as the next South African Idol.

I'm from UK but I know his story but I know for a fact if he was older when he went on he would've gone. Plus he would've showcased his voice alot more because what he's able to do now an the vibrato/tone he has no his voice has matured its 10 out of 10 an that isn't something I give alot but everything he does is perfect technically an it hits different. Just watched Loyiso's and Karabo's performances. This was hands down the best season of idols South Africa, we were kept on the edge, never really knowing who would win because they were all that bloody good!!

Dude, remember watching this guy do the most during his Idols season. I was super bummed out that he got eliminated. Fast-forward, I think that was a HUGE blessing for him to dig even deeper and climb the ladder on his own. Incredible musician.
