@brianallison19132 жыл бұрын
The reason you don't get much time is because your stealing something (money)that is made out of thin air so technically it doesn't exist. However when you try to create the same thing out of thin air(counterfeiting) is when you get in some pretty deep water as far as trouble goes. Basically, they don't want you counterfeiting what they have already counterfeited. Actually while loosely true imo there are many factors involved to determine punishment. Did you have a crew of people, did you use threats of violence or blatantly wield a weapon, were you masked, what crimes committed in the past, etc. This could range from 3 or so years to life in prison.

Cool to see this is an active account. I couldn't find a better way of contact regarding my inquiry so I will start by leaving a comment here on this most recent upload... I have been a long-time fan of FBI Files. I remember the days when Discovery Channel had decent content; when I was a kid there were nights when they would play FBI Files and the New Detectives w/i the same lineup, it was great. Long story short, it wasn't until a decade or so later I finally watched that HBO series "The Wire". After having re-visited many of the FBI Files episodes I recognize so many of the actors from The Wire were actually in the reenactments depicted in the FBI Files. I can't find any information from google searches that help shed light on this connection. Can anyone chime in? TY! :D

Gonna add to my earlier comments. Though obviously bank robberie like other crimes have to be taken very seriously, obviously its necessary to solve robberies. However, as I said in an earlier comment, I cant ever get excited about catching these guys, so long as no one is murdered. One point I failed to make before is that part of what keeps me from ever saying, "yes! They got thise bad people and retrieved the completely insured cash that no individual actually was robbed of" is the fact that such massive resources are employed by the government in order to catch the ones that they catch. Not that they shouldnt employ those resources, its just that I hardly see law enforcement as having something to brag about when they solve a case. Especially in the modern era, when the FBI pulls out all the stops they are almost guaranteed to come out on top. I guess Im saying that watching a show about a massive government organization hunt some pipsqueak robber just isnt all that compelling.Its a bit of a mismatch, it seems to me.

@38:40, wasn't it legal to search the hit men? Just asking since I don't know much about the law.

That bothered me too. It seems they would've had enough probable cause to detain them and if they were carrying, they could have arrested and charged them with weapons violations, possibly conspiracy to commit murder. Hell, I don't know, maybe I've read too many Michael Connelly novels. But it's strange they'd just let them go.

Folks, these are small time actors who do work like this, commercials, industrial films, and sometimes community theatre. Then, they make their livings tending bar and waiting tables at The Charthouse....😂😂😂😂😂

Without the public help, the FBI would be probably still wasting the federal government money 🤣🤣

Saw a video on Danny Rolling and wondered why I couldn't find anything from my favorite channel on him when it occurred to me that though it came out his first 3 murders were in Louisiana, it was only in Gainesville, FL where his spree was so the FBI probably weren't called in.

@ 18:39 the video repeats a summary of what you have just watched. Redundant repetition. Like what the History Channel used to do. Intelligent people don't like repetition or being talked to like a 5 th grader
