In the Promised Neverland manga, it made sense why Emma didn't want to kill demons. She met kind ones, got to know the nature of the promise, the history of the Ratri Clan, and had basically grown two years and saw what kind of villain Norman is slowly turning into, before reaching that conclusion. Taking out that part would make her decision baseless and shallow

He kind of was painted as a Anti-Hero up to this point. But when you look back it's not surprising what he did. You could sort of justify his other bad deeds up to this point. The thing that throws you off is when he narrates in his human voice/persona. The thing that surprised me most are the people who defended Ainz after this. They tried to paint him still as a good guy. If they did a simple search on him they'll see he character card has him as evil.

Exactly I read the Light Novels and the Manga so I knew the battle where Ainz uses True Death to swiftly kill Gazef was where he shows his true colors as he pretty much kills a majority of Gazef's forces via using them as sacrifices for his ritual spell Dark Fertility: La Shiba-Niggurath to summon the "Lovecraftian Hental Tentacle Demon Goats" to murder the other majority of Gazef's forces was him showing that he was never the good guy and what he does to the thieves was basically him finally going full-on villain something S2 had been building up to. Heck a lot people who were initially fans of the anime adaption of So I'm a Spider So What got pissed when Kumiko revealed "Major Spoiler Alert" that in her new Humanoid Spider-Demon Lord form she was going to be a brutal anti-villain which I immediately stated was going to happen as in the Light Novels and Manga Kumiko after getting her Humanoid Spider-Demon Lord form was going to become a brutal anti-villain that you are rooting for and actually agree with her on her notions that humans are at times are more monstrous and villainous then a Spider-Demon like her.

2:10 in the manga it is explained that she learns that the demons don't actually need to eat humans, but most of them are forced due to the leaders, and there are actually kinda ones between them that help humans, she didn't want to kill them. :3

The manga was also a bit iffy with the details too because there was a timeskip for the events that unfolded which got them to change their minds. Something that crucial, you don't skip over. Instead, we get one chapter explaining that they've changed their outlook on demons.

@@Manganizationit fit her personality Emma was the most compassionate out of everyone from the start of the show if anyone would have a change of heart it’s her especially after the fact there were demons that helped them when they escaped that she views as family. The same way she wanted to take everyone during their escape. She thinks and acts off of compassion before anything else

Yah mugika has blood that if a demon drinks it they will no longer go hungry for humans, plus she finds out that lumis and yjiko are siblings to the queen and the queen is purposely starving the demons, plus we get the backstory for the coward king that signed a promise so he didn't get eaten but their god knew this and made sure his descendants look after the food making, the animators got lazy with this awesome series

What ruined Death Note for me wasn't the death of L. It was the fact that this wasn't the end and the show went on for another 13 episodes. Light had legitimately won and outsmarted his rival once and for all. It should have ended there.

And if you think about it, it makes sense that L and Watari would have contingency plans in case either or both of them died during a case. Hence, this is why Near and Mello were specifically informed that L was dead. The only reason why Interpol was involved as much as they were was because Near approached them.

Some of these I can understand, but others I disagree with. Devil is a Part-Timer: I’m kinda neutral to Alas Ramus, but wasn’t all that bothered by her inclusion to the story, as it allowed for Emi’s mother to be involved in the plot, gave us some genuinely sweet moments between them and Maou, and from a writing perspective, helped Emi grow beyond her hatred for demons. Digimon Frontier: Letting the characters become Digimon themselves served to up the stakes a bit since the humans ended up fighting and there was risk of losing they’re Spirits and it gave the characters more freedom to interact and form specific dynamics off one another that couldn’t be done with a partner Digimon. HunterxHunter: Kite reincarnating sets the stage to show off more of what he, or in this case she, can do since despite the impact he had on Gon, didn’t have many chances to show off. Fate/Stay Night: I don’t think it’s really fair to compare this series to later Fate adaptations given that it was the first animated adaptation out, whereas later adaptations would have the benefit of being adapted by Ufotable and better cgi equipment. Pokémon X&Y: Admittedly, I was upset Ash lost to Alian too, but it did make sense. With Sun&Moon coming out soon, the writers probably wanted to include Ash so they could experiment with the new changes the games had and incorporate them into the anime.

The loss against Cameron was the worst loss due to Cameron being a idiot and having him win because of Plot Armor. Also I have no issues with Ash winning the Alola League by using Counter against a Counter as that is a unconventional tactic that Ash would use to win a battle and remember one of Ash's bread and butter strategies when it came to battles was unconventional tactics that no one would think of using or think would work and it somehow works in his favor, like how he had Infernape use Flare Blitz underground after using Dig to get underground to not only KO Paul's Ninjask but also get rid of the Toxic Spikes Paul's Drapion had set up earlier.

Not really as Ash and Alain went through the ringer with each other plus Ash-Greninja no longer had the type-advantage as Mega-Charizard X was a Fire/Dragon Type meaning Water-Type Attacks like Water Shuriken no longer did Double Damage against it, and don't forget Greninja by the time it took on Charizard had already went up against several of Alain's Pokémon and taken some damage whereas Charizard hadn't battle that much in the league match and was relatively at full health and fresh whereas Greninja had already battle a good number of times before it faced Charizard.

He's been to so many regions, lost all of the championships by varying degree's, wins what I consider to be one of the weakest leagues, and then somehow immediately goes on to become the World Champion. Something about that to me didn't feel earned. Now if he had won the Alolan League and then went back to the Indigo League and won there, then went on to become World Champion, that would have sat better, because defeating the Indigo League would have shown how much he has actually grown, both in-universe and to the fans who had been watching since the very beginning.

Yeah, Overlord was not a hero. Character development could have done a trip to anti-hero, but didn't. I quit because that arc showed Ainz being the force to get the adventurers to invade Nazarick so that he could act all hurt about it and then unleash his wrath upon the nations in retaliation. For a situation he engineered. Threw away any sympathy I may have had for his character.

In defense of The Promised Neverland, the "don't kill demons" aspect was foreshadowed, fits into the character, and came after it was known the demons had morality, the social structure of their society, meeting demons that didn't want to eat humans, and the like. This is only defending the manga, however, and season 2 of the anime can burn in whatever hell it crawled out of.

I don't entirely know why people hated Digimon Frontier. It has Digimon, it has action, and a good storyline. Sure, making the kids turn into Digimon was way different than we are used to but look at Digimon Fusion. At least in Frontier, it stayed pretty close to the source material that proceeded it in Tamers and Adventure and Adventure 02.

For Death Note, it wasn't that Light died but that the show didn't end shortly after. As for Ainz, either he needed to be covertly good or else he needed to double down on the evil, even more so than he ended up being. Instead he was in this Neutral Evil area that wasn't very compelling.

Heck the original concept for Season 4 was going to make Bio-Merging/Matrix Evolution which was introduced in Season 3 the main gimmick by having to where during major battles the Digi-Destined would Bio-Merge/Matrix Digivolve with his/her Digimon Partner into the Mega Form when the situation called for it leading into a Tournament Arc where the main team of Digi-Destined and their Digimon Partners took on teams of other Tamers and their Digimon Partners who could also Bio-Merge together into the Digimon's Mega Level Form.

12:22 [spoiler alert] My theory on this - it's worth revisiting the scene where the queen chimera ant dies after having given birth to Meruem. The chimera ant named Colt was there when she died, and he recovered what appeared to be a human fetus out of the queen. It's likely that this baby grew up to be the girl that Kite became, so the unclear part of this is how that would have happened. I think some other circumstances that were visited toward the end of the 2011 HxH series offer more clues to support the link between the revived Kite and the baby.

Don’t know why you’re under the impression Ash had a type advantage. That was Mega Charizard X which is Fire/Dragon type. Dragon resists Water so a Fire/Dragon type only takes neutral damage to Water not super effective

So Son Goku Could Learn Never to Give Up and Keep on Training because there is always someone or something more stronger than you are!! Which kept Goku motivated for the rest of his life. a Hard earned Lesson Goku Still Carries with him each time a new enemy or opponent shows up!!

I actually liked Digimon Frontiers. Tamers was the one I just really didn't like. Didn't watch any Digimon shows after that, though. First two seasons are still the all time goat. Edit: regarding Pokemon, even if the writers did "learn" with Ash finally becoming champion of the world, some of those battles in that tournament were still bad. As smart as Ash should be at this point, why does he have Pikachu use iron tail against Steven's Mega Metagross instead of spamming thunderbolt? Stuff like that in the anime is super annoying.

I don't really agree with Mushoku Tensei being on this list mainly because Rudius's 3 wives, yes 3 wives as he'll get one more, is a huge key factor in the development in his character growth. It is because of his 3 wives and an eventual visit that he'll get in season 3 maybe, that allows Rudius to avoid a bad ending. And I REALLY don't agree with Overlord being on here because it was obvious that Ainz was never going to be the Hero of the new world. Hell, his main reasons for doing the things he was doing was all purely selfish reasons for himself. To preserve the home he made with his old friends with the hope that some of them were also in the new world.

Rent a girlfriend, I rage quit it after reading the manga at 103 because i notice 2 things that Annoyed me. 1. The protagonist, Kazuya, is such a loser and annoying main character that stays the same (has no character development) for more than 300 episodes. 2. I notice the same cliché over and over and OVER AGAIN that chizuru (his main love interest) where finally gonna say something sweet and loving and the Dum@ss main character interupt the moment and screw the moment. The ainz thing is confusing. Could’ve sworn from the beginning dude had been saying he wants to find any other players but also rule the land. On top of that he’s been very clear he’s about his home first over everything so him killing didn’t seem far fetched for his character. Ainz isn’t like rimuru. He doesn’t have some desire to make peace with every single being and he been shown he’ll manipulate things in a way to get what he wants

Ainz just doesn't want to let his servants down, so when Demiurge took his joke about ruling the land seriously he just went with it. And the reasons he wants to find other players are pretty simple. He mostly wants to find his old allies, but it's unlikely they've been transported. Another reason is that players would be a huge threat to him. Momonga was in the middle of the ranking back in Yggdrasil, because he prioritized role-playing over combat strength. Also, his role in the game was to be a kind of support. He would stand no chance if he just bumped into a player that prioritized PvP, so getting as much info on them beforehand is his only choice. As for his mindset. He has two different sets of morals. One set shaped when he was human living in dystopian world where corporations took over the country and walking the street means almost certain death (if the pollution doesn't kill you, someone will just stab you). The other one hailing from his undead body he created for role-playing a villain. He set his karma to negative 500, which is as evil as you can be. His body also negates any strong emotions, so his already warped human side can only take over while balancing on a tightrope.

I'm glad they mentioned Aldnoah Zero, in particular how insufferable Slaine was. He was like Suzaku from Code Geass, but somehow even worse. For those who haven't watched Aldnoah Zero, let me give you an idea of just how terrible this character was. His family and home was wiped out by the martians and he was taken as a prisoner/slave. He fell in love with the princess of the martians who was pretty much dedicating her life to trying to form peace with the earth. A group of martians basically started manipulating things because they wanted to keep the war going, part of their plan was to kill the princess (who again Slaine was in love with) in order to make sure peace wasn't possible. The leader outright told Slaine he intended to kill her, so what does he do? Decides he wants to protect the princess by helping the people who he knows are trying to kill her. Lo and behold they make it to the group of martians trying to manipulate things does what he said he was going to do and shoots the princess. Slaine freaks out, and blames the guy who was trying to protect the princess (instead of the person who shot her who he was also helping full well knowing what their intention was) and tries to kill him instead, while continuing to work with the martians who wanted war. Princess survives but is kept locked up and Slaine decides to help her by continuing to help the people who tried to kill her and imprison her by continuing to work towards their goals of basically wiping out humanity on earth (again which was his home planet before the martians wiped out his family, and home and took him hostage). Even when the martians are defeated and he's the only one left, he decides to dedicate his life to continuing to try and help wipe out humanity for the princess, despite her no longer being under any threat and this being the EXACT opposite of everything she was fighting for. In summary, he dedicated his life to trying to wipe out his home and trying to help his war mongering captors continue a war, in the name of a person who dedicated herself to trying to stop it, to the point he helped the war mongerers attempt to kill her, and then when they almost did he turned around and blamed the earthlings trying to protect her. I've seen several hundred animes throughout my life time, and I genuinely think Slaine might be the single most insufferable character in anime.

It is quite better than other animes with Harem troupes though, at least Rudy asked permission and marries the girl/s. Wait until he gets the THIRD one though! 😁
