Chessington was my original stomping ground. First time I went at age 8, it was the golden age of exit passes, and I went on Vampire 16 times. Got a letter from a Merlin higher up saying I was one of their best explorers, which was pretty sick

Great video as always! I would happily watch a yearly top 10/20/50/etc for each UK theme park you visit, because I am very basic like that and love rankings. I haven't been to chessington for 25 years so I desperately want to go now!

Went to Chessington today and it was around 5:00, we were right at the end of the 1 hour+ queue for dragons fury when it broke down and we were all kicked out the queue with a free fast pass. Went to ostrich stampede in jumanji and THAT broke down in the middle of the queue, so we left and used the fast passes on mandrill mayhem when we’d already gone on it earlier on 😭

Great video! I went to Chessington for the first time yesterday and I have to say it was a lot of fun! I agree with Mandrill mayhem, it’s such a fun ride! I personally liked rattlesnake quite a lot, me and my brother couldn’t stop laughing at the corners!

When I went , I couldn’t get on mandrill cuz of virtual queues being full all day , dragons fury broke down as we were about to go on it (we did get 1 free fast pass but it was ALMOST the end of the day). Croc drop was also closed. Then it got worse because at the end of the day I only got on 3 rides. Vampire (2x) , Rattlesnake 🤮and kobra. It was a busy day , I got to admit.

Yes amazing Video I went on loads of rides (vampire, dragons fury,rattlesnake and mandrill mayhem) being my favourites!! I love Chessington so much. I went in August. I really want to go again as-well! I recommend fast pass for dragons fury and vampire and rattlesnake i waited so so long. Also a long queue for tomb blasters for some reason!

I went with my kids last year and Mandrill was closed unfortunately but 🤞🏻 hopefully it's open when we visit soon. My favourite ride there is Vampire and I've convinced my teenager that it's really special 🦇 my 2 year old hated the gruffalo ride yet loved Tomb Blaster 😂

By the way, monkey swinger and tomb blaster are closed, the signs outside say that they’re undergoing health checks, and they’ve been closed since the start of the season the other week, they’re also not listed on the queue times on the app and their name isn’t on the map.

So definitely a family park for than a thrill ride destination. I’m not sure I would like this more than Legoland because that place had more rides and theming was better. I suppose if I’m ever going to bother going here I better do it while our kids are young. But I might just not bother. Most of the rides seem to be stuff you get at travelling fun fairs.
