The Diane Weast-infection cold open make me actually cry from laughing the first time I saw it. The build up, the zoom-ins on Boyle's and Jake's faces, the way it cuts off "yeast" at the very end. Poetic cinema, unbeatable. It'll always be the best cold open from B99.

For me the cold moment is the High five Holt gives to everyone except for Jake since he was late for the meeting and watching Holt giving high fives to everyone else except him was painful to watch lol. Also another one cold moment was Rosa telling Captain Holt about spending more time with Kevin leading to Holt almost having mental breakdown and yelling "BONE" in front of everyone.

My all time favourite is Boyle’s first Tommy Gobbler cold open when he walks in dressed as a turkey and seems very unaware Jake is trying to tell him something. Then finally Jake reveals that there are some people wondering what happened to their grandmother at which point Boyle puts on a very serious voice and face and goes “I have some deeply tragic news” while still dressed as a turkey

Gonna miss this show while I'll 100% be binge watching seasons from time to time this was one of my favorite shows that lasted a good while all the way back to days of watching like Monk and Psych on USA. Lot of my shows tend to get cancelled or w/e at one point this was one of them but NBC grabbed it and while I wish they'd gone a little longer I am grateful for this show. It made me laugh, cry, and I always valued when they touched on serious topics from time to time when it mattered. Gonna miss it NINE NINE!!!!

One of my favorites was the opening for the 4th Halloween Heist. When one by one Amy, Jake then Holt come in to announce the heist and everyone is annoyed. Then Hitchcock shows up and they think he’s about to announce the heist as he says “No! My ex wife just died. No more alimony baby!”

My only problem with the Young Hitchcock & Scully cold-opening, is that it creates a continuity error. Prior to this episode, We saw a flashback of them in the 70s, where they're already shown to be overweight an incompetent. So having them be young studs in the 80s makes no sense. But then again... it's still fucking hilarious lol.
