The only one I can think of where she broke was when Jason Sudekis brings his new girlfriend "Regine" played by Fred Armisen to the party and she can't stop laughing when she says "is there anymore food? I need to get something down my throat to fight what is coming up!"
@TightyWhiteyTrash Жыл бұрын
@@jspihlman THATS RIGHT! I totally forgot about that one. She started giggling and said, “does anyone have some solid food?” And she lost it in her next lines. A classic for sure! 😜

It's really hard to decide who's really the king of breaking character: Bill Hader or Jimmy Fallon. Whatever the case, those two are uproariously funny. 😂
@wvu05 Жыл бұрын
Hader is more organic when he breaks character, in no small part because he mainly does it when lines get thrown in at the last minute and he's thrown off (Mulaney especially enjoyed doing that for the Stefon sketches), but Fallon seems to be doing it to draw attention to himself.

Pretty sure the goal of Stefon was to get Hader to break. Definitely went according to plan!
@gfear24 Жыл бұрын
One of the writers would always take out one of Bill's lines and insert something Bill had never read, for the sole purpose of breaking him. And the line almost always included mention of Dan Cortese.

There was also the Secret Military Weapon sketch with Simu Liu playing an Army General introducing Dog Head Man as a super soldier where they had an actual dog in the sketch but had someone underneath playing the hands of the secret super soldier. The dog was supposed to be eating a sandwich but it fell on the floor, so the dog turned down to eat the rest of it.

Chris Farley and I hung out every day for a week in Hilton Head a yr before he died. He was at a fat camp and while sitting by the my condos pool he was doing the skit of Matt by the river and crushed a plastic table beside of the pool and I peed myself and had to jump into the pool. He was a gentle, shy and great guy. All he did was drink bottle water and smoke Marlboro reds. Miss that guy.

MsMojo, here @8:26, you said "we could contain our laughter either, considering the dialogue," or something. Can we hear the next "dialogue?" NO. That's all I can take.
@martyklestadt6766 Жыл бұрын
NO, because of copyright. If you can't take that, then don't watch the video.
@stevesebzda570 Жыл бұрын
@Marty Klestadt No, not because of copyright (it was shown before and after). I used to watch MOJO about 7-10 years ago, and enjoyed them. Lately, they've these SNL vids and clips come up in my suggestions - which I would like to see and hear. You don't notice who the uploader is until you look. You look after you notice a few times the background scenes being talked-over. That's when you notice the uploader. Believe you me, I didn't watch any further after I was disappointed a few times (prob that time-mark - or a few seconds later). Used to enjoy these, now I'm older and don't. I guess I'm getting nostalgic in my old age. [I missed it being MOJO though - so I got sucked-in] Thanks though.
@stevesebzda570 Жыл бұрын
@Marty Klestadt I think I gave MsMojo a suggestion on this one. [If it's the one with Gilda Radnor - she was Gene Wilder's girlfriend or luv'd one, if you didn't know] That suggestion was, Pause the video as you do your talking. You can add 5-10 minutes to your video length. [AND see and hear all of the clip(s)]. A suggestion though, so I was helping in nature. Thanks again. Cheers (
@stevesebzda570 Жыл бұрын
Cheers though . 😂👍🏻👍🏼
@stevesebzda570 Жыл бұрын
@Marty Klestadt I'm rethinking the matter. Maybe it was because of "copyright." You can show any scene you want as long as you muddle it (talk over it) every few seconds. And "Gilda Radnor," (that might seem to be a safe place to muddle (talk over), some just happen to remember her m [I don't know.. 1/5th or higher - and I wanted to hear her talking off-script -- possibly talking about Candice Bergen cracking up] Now that I remember though, Gilda Radnor always stuck to the script (maybe with occasional smirks or smiles - but she always stuck to the wording of the script). Very professional in other words. So, it was fine talking over her there (there was only going to be facial expressions) But, I imagine some don't know that (this would be the 4/5s or whatever higher) [All that was ealier though (when Candice Bergen was on the couch) ] Here though (@the time-mark above), MsMojo said: You wouldn't be able to contain you laughter either, considering the dialogue," a lot expect to hear that next dialogue . Perhaps, MsMojo was referring to the previous dialogue. To just say "considering the dialogue," some expect to hear "that [next] dialogue." Maybe MsMojo should have said "previous," I don't know. Thank though.. [It's late - excuse the typos..] 😁
