Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal EDP is awesome, and has a prominent cherry note, could have been mentioned in the video. And Tonka Cola smells awesome as well. Other than that, not pulled by cherry fragrances in general.

I absolutely adore cherry fragrances, esp black cherry. My love affair started with Rouge Smoking on a solo weekend trip to Miami. I received a travel size bottle as I was leaving home for the airport and wore it the entire weekend. Had to have a full bottle asap. Now I also have and love Cherry Ambition and Carmina. Me and Carmina just work! Especially when I layer it over Diptyque's Eau Rihla. Its so sexy in cooler months. During warmer months, I'll layer Byredo Black Saffron under Cherry Ambition or Rouge Smoking for a lighter but similar effect. Cherry and leather is so sexy together. But I despise Cherry Punk as it smells like taking a swig of cherry coke after smoking a Newport... ugh. I do really want to try Cherry di Latte. New Notes has some very interesting fragrances I want to test. Also, Marachino by Sospiro sounds like its right up my alley. Can't wait to try it out!

I own room 1015 cherry punk and a travel size of Kayali lovefest burning cherry, and that is enough for me. I really thought I was more into cherry. But after wearing lost cherry for a bit, I came to realize that I find straight up cherry scents to be a bit boring. So I like the addition of leather or smoke, but don't need any more cherry. One thing that could change my mind, was if I found a scent that mimicked the cherry ice cream cones of my childhood, like a super creamy, lactonic maraschino cherry scent, where the ice cream was more prominent than the cherry, maybe with a hint of that sweet burnt vanillic touch of the waffle cone. That would be interesting to try.

Yes, I agree, the ghost accord should be smoky/incense. The power pellet accord would maybe be zesty like a bright citrus or perhaps minty? It needs to be lively to capture the energetic nature of the game. So, fruity, smoky, incensy with a lively opening. I can't help but think that if flankers were based on individual fruity notes, pineapple would smell like a smoky batch of Aventus 😅

Tom Ford's Cherry Smoke Parfum surprised me with its longevity. I bought it going through Heathrow last December. Very true to cherry base with a very sweet smokey top note. I'd buy it again, though costly (GBP 230/fifty ml). The Lost Cherry was just a plain note I didn't like at all

Tom Ford boarded the hype train when it comes to cherry, Guerlain was already years in the game and those created a lot of hype! TF took even the almond/cherry combination that Guerlain uses.

I wouldn’t exactly say, Tom Ford started the trend of cherry fragrance. I would probably give that credit to Bath and body Works with cherry blossom, but I will say he’s leading the pack
