While Torres goal against Barcelona in the semifinal was a great goal, it was only an icing on the cake, we did not need the goal to qualify, all we needed was to prevent Barca from scoring their elusive 3rd goal. We were already qualifying with an away goal advantage. Drogba's header in the final with our first corner in the game was a goal of destiny and the most important goal that handed over the first ever UCL title to Chelsea. Ramires' semifinal goal against Barca should be second and then others can come behind.

this does confuse me a little bit, what is the criteria for "best" goal? If its the quality of the goal irrespective of the opposition or the affect on the game then there is no way Torres is number 1 or Ivans header against Benfica is that high. There are a dozen in this list better than that. If its the best because of the moment or the significance of the goal then Drogs must be top, and why wouldn't Havertz goal against City be in there, or Hazard against arsenal in the Europa final. What about Wayne bridge against arsenal? I remember going wild when he buried that.

I'd have the Ramires goal top personally. Not only is it a genuinely great goal, but down to 10 men away against a Pep led Barcelona who were the reigning champions. Lest we forget it was, with Drogba's from the first leg, the goal that actually took us through. Torres' goal was irrelevant to the outcome and along with good goals against also rans like Maribor and Haifa doesn't have a place on this list.
