A couple that I really like are Visions of Atlantis and Unleash the Archers. Both are absolutely incredible bands with very talented frontwomen.

Lipshok is an American female fronted band " crawl back home " featuring Bay Area metal guitarist Glen Alvelais is a heavy melodic song you might want to check out . This band is unknown but worth your time .

its probably not metal more rock but a band called GUANO APES is really good.. i first heard their song OPEN YOUR EYES and was hooked cuz its a banger... and their song YOU CAN'T STOP ME (the music video for it is awesome too).. the energy the songs give is so empowering

mostly derivative, reductive and cliche' that is why they are third tier. some are good, save is probably the best of this bunch. i do not understand the inclusion of japanese acts, they are always a parody of the parody band baby metal. never to be taken serious in metal circles. how do you say insomnium is japanese?
