I really think longevity needs a more detailed description. You stated it's how long a fragrance lasts. Azzaro Pour Homme (2014 batch) projects for about 2 to 3 hours but it lasts as a skin scent for over 24 hours if you smell the part of your arm where you sprayed it from 1/4 inch away. That's the musk and oakmoss/treemoss base notes that last a long time. The same goes for quite a few other fragrances. The question is should longevity be considered this amount of time as a skin scent or is longevity how long you can get whiffs of yourself without trying, although others can't smell it.

Tobacco Vanille definitely projects like a beast! It's a great fragrance, but I don't wear it often because of how it projects. Oud Satin Mood is another one that projects.

When I was given Interlude Man, I smelled nothing but incense and hated it. I learned to absolutely love it's complexity and how it evolved as hours passed. Now it's one of my favorites.

I was exactly the same way with baccarat rouge 540. I gave my first bottle away to my son. Then a year later I smelled it on him and I was instantly filled with regret, lol. Had to go re-buy it.

it was definitely the same for me for BR540. I was quite underwhelmed the first time i smelled it cuz it was just a sweet scent. It still is, but now i pick up the cedar and ambergris. But even still, it's simple sweet scent. But there's something about it that's addictive. Maybe it's the transparency? Maybe it's the cedar nuances? i dont really know but it is very addictive but i can force myself to buy a bottle cuz it's so simple(?) idk this perfume is such a conundrum hahaha

Yeah, Naomi Goodsir's Nuit de Bakelite grew on me in that way. Got it as a present from someone and I was never too sure about it. I knew I'd probably enjoy smelling it on someone else, but on me - no thanks, it felt incompatible with me and bizarre. But I am not sure how, in the space of a few weeks, things really changed and I grew to totally love it! I kinda...wear it with pride now and really enjoy it!

I get a lot of compliments on MFK 540 and Silk. MFK Cashmere Mood doesn't get me a lot of compliments but its strong, smoky, and definitely will get alot of attention. I really like Cashmere as well as the other MFK Ouds.

Very nice list! I especially like the Jovoys and the Malles. I think Psychédelique is kind of the dirtier and less refined version of Coromandel (EdT), which also is great in terms of projection & sillage. Other very strong ones are Hayat by Kemi / Al Kimiya (sadly has a strong pencil note) and Andy Tauer's L'Air du Désert Marocain & Au Coeur du Désert, which I don't like, because they're nauseating due to that strange, waxy, sweet amber accord.

So far from the ones you’ve mentioned I’ve got only tobacco vanille and baccarat rouge . I agree these are huge projection beasts . The other ones in my collection that they perform extremely good one me are Tom ford noir and black Afghano. Looking forward to buy hacivat since I’ve got aventus and I love it and it’s also summertime so the other ones you’ve mentioned are not a great idea for now !

most fragrances in the video are highly priced but to be honest, mfk 540 is so weak when it comes to projection and does not last that long and the projection is weak people around me can barely smell it from my own experience !! i spent a lot of money on it and this is all i got!! so disappointed with all the compliments on this fragrance but non of what people are saying on this one is tend to be true!! for now am still using tobacco vanille and its a beast!

I got Laudano Nero as entry into strong niche fragrances, looking for extrait strength and tobacco-woody - blind bought it... At this point, it's just "boozy christmas" to me - very, very complex to my nose; not quite masculine - like I still love it, but I'd only wear it clubbing, maybe, or single spray below the chest in summer? It's so strong - A friend literally said it smelled like sex ;) Laudano Nero btw refers to opium - the Terenzi's refer to it as "meditative". Fascinating stuff.
