So true! Just watched a video on KZbin where this scientist lady was talking about perfume macrleration and people in the comments were saying there is no such thing as maceration and if a perfume smells bad initially it will always smell bad and won't get better over time. Smh

I have taskeen Marina for 2 months already ... First I was super disappointed, it smelled amazing bur lasted on me no more then one hour but now, after 2 months it stays 4-5 hours so maceration does exists😂.

Hi Paulina, Have you tried Leen by Lattafa? BEAST mode fruity fragrance with a hint of that Mystique Bouquet woodiness and amped green mango, wow. EDIT: I sprayed Leen and Mystique side by side yesterday evening, and I think they’re very very close, with Leen being less fruity, so it may be redundant to have both. And you are absolutely right about maturation. I have received fragrances from some of our favorite and most exclusive designer and niche houses, and they have developed and bloomed from sitting. Maturation, maceration, oxidation, evolution… all fragrances will undergo these processes, regardless of price point.

So because of your review, I won't stress getting it. I love leen compared to Ajayeb. I can't stand oud and Leen is perfect,no oud.

I finally purchased Hanan and really hoped that it didn’t smell like erba pura or the dupes or amethyst. Well, it doesn’t. I can clearly smell the passionfruit, which i love. It is fruity but I don’t find it sweet. Tropical but not the usual coconut tropical nor does it smell like ripe fruits. I’m also glad that I cannot pick out ripe guava smell which tends to smell like BO. It also lasted overnight on my clothes. So it’s a blind buy win.
