But for some of us we just don't easily pick up on social cues during interactions or other minor things like not considering all the ways something we say could be taken by other people, not that we're all "significantly impaired". That kind of blanket statement is insulting. My sister and I are both on the spectrum at 27 and 38. JLaw actually DOES show signs of being on the spectrum as an adult woman. It's easily missed in adult women because we present differently than males and are usually exceptionally good at masking.
