It’s something about “For Good”. Especially with Idina and Kristin together they really did do something special with those characters. Now yes there have been more proclaimed vocal “Powerhouses” that took on the role but it’s the raw emotion and acting talent that they brought every night that can’t be replaced. They are best to ever do it.

The fact that "Lily's Eyes" from Secret Garden doesnt have its own spot....it is probably the greatest male/male duet in musical theatre....ever, followed by "Youre Nothing Without Me" from City of Angels. Really? I just saw it regionally and enjoyed the story but really did not enjoy the music. The style seemed completely at odds with the story and didn't add anything to the characters or the plot for me. If anything it felt like the plot stalled so the song could happen. The 2 exceptions were 2 songs (don't even remember the names) that were sung from outside the main scene and functioned more like a movie soundtrack or ambiance.
