@@sunnyjohnson992 She is a hoot. And I’m glad Kronk managed to establish his own identity separate from being Yama’s henchman. He definitely has an F in evil. Although there is one thing that bugs me…his last name. It’s an Ashkenazi Jewish sounding surname and some people on TVTropes suggested he’s a descendant of a Converso but Conversos were more of a Sephardic identity so he can’t be a Converso. Maybe I’m overthinking things.

It’s a shame that Treasure Planet is underrated because Silver is a very relatable villain and important character. He becomes a surrogate father to Jim, despite being the reason he and his mother lose their home and having false motives for the voyage, when Jim’s spent his teen years without a father. Plus, I love having a disabled character and how they address it, showing how people can judge those who are different, but Silver is still capable of doing things and I love the animation with his mechanical arm and the many features it has. That representation is perfect

Syndrome was a man-child that was still following his childhood dream. But as for letting him down easy, I would've said that he's too young and inexperienced. He did say he didn't need training. Mr. Incredible moves and fighting styles r just a small portion. So that and his age would've gotten him killed very easily.

Gothel ended up on this list?? Ok, I'm sure we're all totally against kidnapping an infant girl from her parents who has magic rejuvinating powers in her hair, but isolating Rapunzel in a tower for 18 years of her life via Stockholm Syndrome still is an inexcusable crime and in no way "relatable". And let's not forget, in the _Rapunzel Tangled Adventures_ tie-in series, Gothel abandonded her unwanted daughter Cassandra the very night she absconded Rapunzel.

Gothel should not be on that list - she is a perfect example of either narcissistic or borderline personality disorder - manipulative, horrible, selfish and gas-lighting. She sees people as a means to an end with no compassion for anyone other than herself. I recall sitting in the theatre with my skin just crawling every time she was on the screen. She is only relatable if you also see other people as existing to serve your needs.

192: Mother Gothel. The worst villain ever for her actions. I don’t know how many times I’ve bought this up but she’s an actual mother in the Disney animation canon to have a daughter named Cassandra, even though she was cut from the movie and everyone wouldn’t see this character as anyone’s mom. When she kidnapped the princess for selfish deeds, she left her daughter and pursuit her goals as a woman with the youth potion from the Princess’s hair

Ursula, while she didn’t *TECHNICALLY* break the contract, did quite a bit sabotage Ariel’s attempts to fulfill it so that she wouldn’t lose, right down to using Ariel’s siren powers to make Eric fall in love with her once it was clear Ariel was actually on the cusp of establishing their love. She never had any intention of letting Ariel stay human.

Maleficent - Home girl doesn't take sides, she just does what she wants. 2. Hook - I'd be pretty pissed too if a manchild amputated me and sicced a crocodile on me to boot. 1. Queen Grimhilde - Queen is right. IDK, to be honest I always felt like the reason Gantu was fired is because he kidnapped/endangered a child. So he wasn't fired for trying to do the job he was asked to do, he was fired for going outside the bounds of the law and morality in order to do said job (which essentially amounted to him causing an interplanetary incident). Especially considering that the Galactic Federation seems to have something similar to the Prime Directive, which Gantu's actions probably violated.

4:27 While Stinky Pete nearly convinced Woody about staying with him and the Roundup Gang in the Japan toy museum because they would be loved and adored, it would have been really worse for them. Given that museums have security cameras to avoid any kind of theft, this means that the Roundup Gang would have been forced to never move ever again. Of course, given his hatred towards children, Stinky Pete would have easily gone through with this but not his friends, serving this as an example of his extreme selfishness. 13:55 In medieval culture, an event like a royal christening is not a private party; it’s the public social event of the year. To not invite any person of rank to such an event is a deadly insult. Maleficent is certainly someone you wouldn’t want at a party, but she’s also someone powerful enough that only a fool would ever dare treat her with such blatant disrespect. The only way the King and Queen could possibly have gotten away with not inviting Maleficent was to not invite any of the fairies at all; inviting the other fairies and excluding her is explicitly taking sides in the conflict between the fairy factions. Which means they made themselves her sworn enemies, and she responded by treating them as such from then on. If you actually get into analyzing the social dynamics of the scene, it’s very clear that Maleficent was willing to show mercy at first by giving the King and Queen a chance to apologize for their disrespect to her. She doesn’t curse Aurora until after she gives them that chance and they throw it back in her face with further disrespect. And yeah, if the King and Queen had done the properly respectful thing and invited her, Maleficent would have given Aurora a scary awesome present. Moreover so would the other fairies, because at that point both sides would be using it as an opportunity to show off and one-up each other. What they gave her before Maleficent showed up was basically just trivial party favors by fairy standards.

You also missed Gaston from Beauty and the Beast and Phillium Benedict from Recess: School's Out; Gaston wants to be with Belle and tries hard to get her to like him (he even ignores every other girl for Belle and plans about their lives together) and so it may be easy to side with how she rejects him as she does (and may go to extremes). And Benedict just wanted to improve the school system and couldn't see any other way but to get rid of Recess to do so. He also got fired and his best friend was behind it; imagine if that happened to you. Oh, what's that? You don't have sympathy for them? I agree with most but I change numbers 14 and 10 for 14 Charles Months from Up he was a great Explorer who got his Repartition ruined by Skipists and he was desperate to restore it 10, Professor Robert Callahan he believed that his only Daughter and likely only Living Family member was dead from a College’s reckless dismissal of a error in their Presentation and wanted Justice for it and I think Hades is the most relative Disney villain.

Sounds to me like the antagonist in the movie treasure planet, John, silver that feeling coursing through his body despite being an antagonist is redemption pity, remorse despite all the sins he’s committed, he still wishes to be redeemed I can relate to that

With Syndrome, he was too young and navie. And Mr. Incredible wasn't looking for a sidekick in the first place.

191: Unlike other villains but I do sympathize Edgar Balthazar. I get it that The Aristocats is a classic movie but I find it ridiculous. Money for cats? What would they do for the money?
@PhoenixRising87

See, that's another reason Edgar is kind of an idiot. He'd be the cats' guardian, so he'd be in control of the money anyway.

I mean, Mother Gothel goes at the bottom of my list because she’s an abusive POS but that might just be me.

We're sexist as hell,we lie to ourselves and others,we are somewhat bigoted and we believe religion makes us right...in pretty broad terms,Frollo is alot more relatable than we are comfortable with.

Gothel made the list but Callaghan didn't? I would think the man who lost his daughter to an under planned experiment would feel more relatable to a woman who becomes so desperate for eternal youth that she kidnaps and psychologically tortures an innocent child. Yes, most people dream of eternal youth, but I think the way she treats Rapunzal after she kidnaps her kind of takes away from relatability
@PhoenixRising87
@PhoenixRising87 Жыл бұрын
Fair point. And also, if you take the Tangled Animated Series as canon, Gothel straight-up abandoned her real daughter to make off with baby Rapunzel. She's a deadbeat parent deserve much less credit than a man who put everything on the line to avenge his daughter.

I think a mixture of gabby gabby and other villains like Goob who didn’t get a night’s sleep and was traumatized by his peers and not being adopted and bullied. because for the longest time I felt I’d no voice and wasn’t loved.

John Sliver - is relatable because, he NOT think his past😢 He did Jim & his mother at end😊 Captain Gantu- after retirement his NEW job, he NOT doing Revenge or getting old job back. Ursurla's family- didn't think her sister.😢 Her family kick out.😢Ursurula wants payback.

as I repeatedly mention, the "Evil" Fairy was excluded because *everyone thought she been ded* due to having been incommunicado for an unspecified amount of time also Scar & Balthazar's predicaments were actually their own faults

Suddenly… Maleficent and I share similarities with 2 differences: I only want to be included if I am consented. Crazy how I just want to be in any online game guild, Roblox group, and, in most cases, any Minecraft related activity. That’s a difference. I’m relatable because I want to be included in what others do, excluding dangerous and illegal activities. Well, it could’ve been worse.

Relatable Disney Villains Gabby Gabby- I relate to Gabby Gabby the most due to rejection by others mainly because nobody seems interested by me and would not be romantically involved with me. Hades- I relate to Hades secondly due to being fluent in Sarcasm and tend to lose myself getting angry easily Mother Gothel- I relate to Mother Gothel thirdly being an actress and being theatrical is definitely my personality
