But...what do you mean under rated? Sorry...what does WatchMojo mean with "under rated"? Every single article and rating page praised the game when it came out giving the game 8s and 9s everywhere. People been screaming for a sequel ever since (I include myself among those). It's literally a game EVERY ONE heard about in late 2009. It may have been over shadow by other games at that time sure...but how can you compete with CoD or Assassins Creed that were HUGE at that time :/ I wouldn't say it's under rated, instead, I would 100% classify it as "Games that deserved a sequel but never got one"

i still to this very day will say Sleeping Dogs is so underrated. The story gets you so deep you connect with the characters on an emotional level. It's always overshadowed by GTA, but i love the melee style combat and how certain outfits can change your style of fighting. Just like most open world games, it has its share of bugs and glitches, however if a sequel was made and bug and glitches were fixed, then it would be more talked about

I missed playing Ultimate Spider-Man. It’s that game where I played as both Spider-Man and Venom. Also, it introduced me to an alternate take on the Venom Symbiote, which’s not an alien, but more likely a man-made lifeform. Such interesting and intriguing concepts each character has.

Let's take a look at some underrated open-world games that may have slipped under your radar. 10/10 Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. 9/10 Destroy All Humans! 8/10 Risen. 7/10 The Darkness. 6/10 Mad Max. 5/10 Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. 4/10 Sunset Overdrive. 3/10 7 Days To Die. 2/10Red Faction: Guerrilla Red Faction: Guerrilla offers players the chance to explore a partially terraformed Mars as a member of a workers resistance group, Red Faction, as they fight against the oppressive Earth Defence Force. The story never quite lives up to its potential, but it does provide an adequate backdrop for the core gameplay: blowing up everything in sight. With the whole map available from the get-go, you can take your sledgehammer and explosive charges and liberate to your heart’s content. It’s worth picking up the hilariously named Re-Mars-tered edition for that pun alone. With the original developers now back in control of the game, hopefully, a sequel will happen soon. 1/10 The Technomancer the technomancer fights off opponenets with an electrified staff The Technomancer released to mixed reviews and was pretty much unheard of shortly after it arrived on shelves. While far from perfect, this game offers a stunning dystopian sci-fi Martian world with several combat tress you can master and swap between mid-battle. You fight people, mutants, and hybrid creatures that have run rampant throughout Mars. With an interesting story about wealth inequality, that you can address using your electrical powers, The Technomancer is definitely a game worth trying out.

It may not look like it now, but Chernobylite is one open world gem that's also a RPG. Suffering from lag issues when loading and the amount of loading screens, it's enough to put down the controller, but with a 3D scan of the exclusion zone in Chernobyl and new dlc to spice up the skins, base building, resource gathering and heavy radiation zones enough to cause your character to vomit and your radiation meter to spike from 0.5 to 100. Gather other NPCs to help you find your wife and gather clues about the power plant and what it has to do with her. Another open world gem (also RPG) is one that had a great story and background. Set after the events of Empire City, Cole McGrath and his friend Zeek set out to New Marais (discount New Orleans) to ultimately stop a volcano monster that negates gravity at will while killing thousands in the process. It's one of those series where your save game progress carries over thus giving you an advantage when beginning a new game. After playing through the good side campaign, you'll cry too because it's a emotional ending. The jokes, the exploration, the literal polar opposite NPCs that argue and oh did I mention Electrokenisis? Electric powers. Basically electrical Jason Statham.

We need some brave soul developers to give us a sequel of Sleeping Dogs and Sunset Overdrive for all platforms

The beginning of this video was a total screw up. They talked about Most Wanted 2012 but they only showed footage from the original Most Wanted from 2005 that was actually one of the best NFS's if not THE best. Other than that I'm happy with the games in the video. My favorite underrated game was there - Mad Max. Such a fun game. And the world looks amazing. I actually want to play it again now that I'm thinking about it, haha.

Dafung were that NFS MW and Stalker doing here in underrated list? Those are Beloved games of all of us! (Also, am I too old to say this?)

Lol holy crap Brutal Legend. I remember it was like the second time i had ever smoked weed. My friend was playing that game. I was melted to the couch and in complete aww of the game. I had no clue what was going on, but thought it was the greatest game ever.
