You know, my heart just broke again after re-watching the last lap of the 600. I remember being 13 years old and since being a fan of NASCAR still had not seen my favorite driver win a race and he came oh so close and I remember crying like a dog.

Man I remember watching most of these live. Look how much has changed. Retired drivers. Different sponsors, different numbers, different teammates. The overall car. The "car of tomorrow" the difference from the manufacturer. NASCAR is awesome and this video is great. A walk down memory lane. Like I can't believe it's been 10 years since Kevin harvick won Daytona 500 over mark martin. I'm only 20 and remember watching that live lol

Michael Cesaro No, he got too far out into the marbles passing a lapped car. Outside rear suspension failure would have caused a spin rather than understeer.

I wasn't alive to see Dale Sr. race, but watching the finish to the 01 Daytona 500 still gives me chills. It's hard to watch. Some people may not have liked Sr. or his driving style, but no one can deny the impact he had on the sport, or the character that he was week in and week out. R.I.P

@@SHEVYWOOD Amen to that! Even though there were some good moments with Jeff (like the 2016 Daytona 500), I really believe that FOX lost something when Larry left the booth, and later DW. Even though Mike will inevitably retire soon, I hope that FOX will be able to recapture some of that magic someday.

#18 was a Lightning Challenge in NASCAR Thunder '03. As Mike Skinner in #4, you had to navigate the crash without taking damage, just like he did. Though in the game, the AI is programmed to crash a couple seconds earlier while you're still turning in 2, making it seem more incredible that he did that.

The 2001 Daytona 500 still makes me sad, even with Waltrip's win. Kyle Busch continues to piss me off. Mark Martin should've won the 500. And I will always get excited watching Craven's and Harvick's wins.

I remember #14. damn. the national guard in the Indy 500 hit the wall in turn four and lost the lead. 88 runs out of gas in a national guard car. I saw that coming even during the race. and I remember when Edwards hit that fence. I specifically remember that race. I didn't like it when that happened. but when he ran across the finish line, that was hilarious. but flipping DW. crazy old man. I like him.

Thank you safe fence. One time it saved many lives is when Dale Earnhardt Jr. crossed the line in Daytona and a big one happened behind him! One of the car got a bit of air and hit the fence. If that fence wasn't there, surely front rowers would've gotten hurt.

The 2 most enthusiastic nascar race commentary has to be DW and Dale jr finishing 1&2 photo finish possibly! It comes from the absolute grass roots natural love for the sport, these guys don't put it on for television ratings or follow any script as I said they are 100% genuine enthusiasm about everything that is nascar and that is the best way to represent the stock car world via real legends who are also legitimate hard-core fans

know what nascar on fox is a home of old school and lot of bunch good'ol cowboys every time we watch and yes if u watch the old races of nascar on fox u see there is a who had banner sign:F. ull O. of X. citement ..well its literally true! if compare to NBC (yeah had got too good broadcasting) but Fox had such a great broadcasting to gave a full package to entertain their fans from home whether its long red flag because nascar on fox had more stuffs to shared or any wanting show us like Hollywood hotel segments, Jeff hammond ford cutaway, great interviews, live performance, DW and Larry Mac catch phrases and also the iconic segment that the fans evrytime they love it when it to turn their maximum volume knob its called "Crank it up!".

Yes, those guys at both MRN and PRN do a great job...except #1: they can't figure out whether the race is at Kansas or Kentucky (Kentucky 2016) #2: they can't figure out if Kevin Harvick or Tony Stewart is wrecking (Talladega Fall 2012) Still, with radio, you get the extra excitement which you don't get with Fox or NBC.

Brad did nothing wrong at Talladega. Edwards went to block but Brad was already there. That kick started a two year stretch of Carl acting like a child and almost killing Brad multiple times on purpose.
