Hanoi and Ho chi minh are the two biggest cities of Vietnam. But i would suggest you visit Da Nang and hoi an village.

@@anu.animesh if you have direct flights from your city to phu quoc then i suggest you to first land at Phuc Quoc. Later you can take flight from Phu quoc to Ho chi minh. If you want to save on flights, take a day tour at Phu Quoc and at night hop on the bus to Ho chi minh. You save hotel expenses and hefty flight expenses as well.
