Yup happy to say "No Batteries" is clearly number one it scared the living life of me as a kid and once I saw that head turn and say his line i ran crying scared. Over the years I grown to love Chucky and look at the scene it still scares me but not compared to before and have to say it really does deserve the number one spot and hope to see more Chucky lists.

The scariest scene in my opinion was the garbage man’s death in Child’s Play 3. I saw the movie when I was young, what haunted me wasn’t so much the guy being trapped inside the compactor, but it the fact that Chucky was laughing after turning the machine on. The poor guy had nothing to do with Chucky, and Chucky is just chuckling about sentencing him to a god awful death. To me, that really displayed how sadistic he is.

I think child’s play as a horror film is overrated,i think the best part is how funny the over the top acting is,from lee ray starting to spell while lighting that makes me laugh each time,to chucky just cursing the mom when she finds out,to the aunt just jumping like she got hit with a gun because chucky hits her with a sledgehammer and more great time

maybe when you're a kid, but when you get older and watch it again with a more aware mind that it's a fake movie, the whole movie becomes absolutely hilarious. There's literally NOTHING scary about it at all.

The child’s play 2 teaser has to be top of my list. The slow wind up, eerie atmosphere as the Jack in the box music plays all culminating with chucky’s stomp. what a jump scare “Sorry Jack, Chucky’s back”

Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! Chucky reminds me of an E.T. doll with flashing heart that I had back in the early 80s. I left that doll in the room in the evening before dinner, and I thought I turned off the flashing heart before I left the room. Later I came back at night, and the doll was flashing its red heart in the dark room, and that was the scariest thing I have ever seen. 🥶

@stephaniegreen CP3 wasn't the best in the series but I'd gladly take Child's Play 3 over seed which was just lame, random and not a good interpretation of Chucky. Chucky at least was menacing and scary in CP3. Seed's plot was just dumb. I didn't think CP3 was boring, just slower at first but would take the slow burn over goofy and stupid story.

A small doll coming to life would frrak anyone out...until you realized you were 20 times bigger and could manhandle it with ease. Hes super scary when combined with the elimant of surprise. But that elimant is regularly taken away in the movies. Terrible villain due to the fact hes so easily defeated.
