I literally just made a comment in a reaction video to Wolverine Origins that the opening scene of them fighting in the different wars was my 3rd favorite comicbook movie opening. Blade is #1, X2 is #2 and Origins is #3.

Raul Julia single handedly save Street Fighter. As campy and over the top as it was I remember the portrayal of M. Bison fondly. Fun fact too Raul Julia took the role not knowing anything about the game. He did it strictly because he knew his kids loved the game at the time and took it to appease them. No other reason. You could see every time you watch it he put more into that movie than it ever deserved.

Hugh said he wanted it to focus it more on his life since well it's an origins movie and sure it had some elements of it clearly the creators just wanted another action movie. Gotta disagree with the Wolverine one. There were MANY epic scenes in that trash movie. Not limited to the elevator opening and Wade Wilson cutting up(no pun) with his twin blades as well as the scene with Jimmy using one of his blades to spark a trail of jet fuel that blows up a downed chopper.

Batfleck's warehouse scene was the BEST batman fight scene in any live action movie. It was comicbook inspired and very arkham batman like. Its a shame batfleck was a victim of bad writing.

What about Babe: Pig in the City? Because its best scene that almost redeemed the same bad sequel is the chaotic ballroom rescue e.g. Mrs Hoggett and the waiters who were swinging about reminds me of Swingshot from the TV game show Gladiators.

Actually I think, in the case of Pearl Harbor, I think its the entire attack that defines the film. Most of the film is a bit long winded and boring, the attack on Britain picking it up a little before the romance between the best friend, and the girlfriend making it slow down again. And then the attack on the harbor happens, first the Japanese sneaking in, then attacking the ships, then the surrounding airports, and, finally the pilots managing to get their planes off the ground and returning fire. Even the two pilots playing chicken and taking down several attacking planes by making them crash into each other made the attack the most interesting part of the movie.

Wildly disagree about THE PHANTOM MENACE being such a bad movie; segments of it (and bits of its sequels) were way above anything the subsequent sets of sequels managed (unless they were killing off/bringing back as ghosts icons from the original trilogy). You can't say that 'It was Tuesday' was the one scene that almost saved STREET FIGHTER: Raul Julia elevated the movie with every line he spoke, and nudged it towards self-parody that did save it. Costigan's killing in THE DEPARTED - but only if it was a surprise, which it wouldn't be if one had scene the original INFERNAL AFFAIRS. Drucker (apparently) persuades Charlene to betray Chris in HEAT. The final exchange ('I never thanked you' 'And you'll never have to') in BATMAN BEGINS. I can't think of anything that saved THE DARK KNIGHT beyond its good luck in having Heath Ledger die before its release and somehow give it a depth it didn't remotely deserve, when none of the Joker's actions even made nutjob sense. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES was stuck without anything beyond the pre-publicity a year ahead of release indicating that Anne Hathaway would be working the Catwoman suit. 'Remind me never to piss you off, Mister Sulu' in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, which rather depended on language that the various twentieth century series couldn't use; that trilogy couldn't even come up with decent titles.

Tron Legacy explores duality, self-reflection, buddhism, the idea of perfection, forgiveness to oneself and to other, selflessness vs selfishness, the power of different kinds of bonds, responsibility, wisdom, etc. It's your problem if it all goes over your head. The lightbike scene is not the best scene in the movie but it's apparently the one easy enough for you to appreciate. You still forgot to mention how it builds the opposing characters of Sam and Clu but yeah, slow motion run, sure. The Phantom Meance is anything BUT a bad movie. Yes, it has some goofiness which is unwanted by many, but it's colorful, exctiting, imaginative, amazing at universe building, visually striking, has some great characters, a dynamic story which never settles in place, a great deal of excellent practical effects, the thrilling podracing sequence, conflciting beliefs, one of the coolest villains ever and a god tier soundtrack just to name a few. The Matrix Reloaded has its faults too but it too has phenomenal stuntwork, choreography, some worthwhile philosphy sprinkled in, a great deal of style, I could go on. Point is, the movie having a highlight in your opinion doesn't make the rest of it "bad". This is such igorant and outdated thinking.

I beg to differ. Even if I saw the first _Tron_ movie, my opinion on _Tron: Legacy_ would still stay the same. I couldn’t follow the movie, and nothing about _The LEGO Movie,_ including the cameo of the _Millennium Falcon,_ was awesome. It was just pointless fan service to me, from the TMNT’s Michaelangelo to Lloyd Garmadon in his Green Ninja attire from _Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu,_ to even Milhouse from _The Simpsons._

One thing I love about the flashback sequence in X-Men Origins Wolverine is how Victor becomes more bloodthirsty with each passing war. At first, he worries for his brother and even takes shots to protect him. But by the time World War II comes around, all he cares about is the carnage

One thing I didn't get about that scene was that Wolverine guys are supposed to be born after the civil war but in the movie there are shown to be fighting in it which means they're born in the early 1800s instead of later on in that period

Actually, the original idea for Ghost Ship was it's supposed to be "The Shinning on Ship ". That's why these actors agree to star in this movie but the script was changed once they start shooting.

A recent honourable mention is “The Marvels (2023).” It had one awesome action scene in the first act where its three lead characters fight Kree soldiers while switching places between Tarnax, the space station, and Kamala Khan’s house. It’s thrilling and creative, and it makes it all the more sad that the rest of the movie doesn’t live up to that awesome scene.

I really liked the X-men origins movie. If the CGI wasnt so bad and Deadpool would have been the Deadpool we have now it would have been so much better. I think comic book fans were the ones that didn't like it. I liked the storyline and all the mutants. The guy that played Victor Creed did a good job I was hoping they would bring that character back but never did. I even like Gambit he was cool in this movie. But it's all good the new Deadpool Wolverine movie will be epic. Glad Ryan Reynolds convinced Hugh Jackman to comeback so they can finally get it right

In defense for Revenge of the Fallen, the movie had a rushed script because of the 2007-2008 writers strike. Paramount refused to push the release back to give them time to get a script so they were basically coming up with the script as they were filming. I’m not saying that the movie is good but there are reasons it’s as flawed as it is

Not to mention that most people like the 1st 3 movies, Bumblebee, & Rise of the Beasts fine. It's movies 4 & 5 that people don't like.
