The Midlaner who started as a rookie and rose to the top together with Damwon, then in Worlds 2019 managed to beat Invictus Gaming (the defending world champions) just like the caster had said, "From Challengers to taking down Defending World Champions". Damwon Gaming and showmaker showed themselves to the world that they are also a force to be reckoned with in the international stage, until G2 defeated them in the Quarterfinals. But the next Season, Damwon and Showmaker Rised and won the LCK Summer Championship and made an Amazing Run in Worlds and won on a Convincing Fashion on the finals and became the World Champion! Then in 2021, Rebranded to Damwon KIA, Showmaker still showed dominance on the stage, together with his team, won the LCK once again, 2nd place in MSI, and winning LCK Summer. Going into worlds, DK were the Favorites to winning it all. Dominated Groups Then They faced MAD Lions, 3-0ing them, faced T1 in an epic showdown, reached game 5 and at the end 3-2ing T1, giving them the chance to win worlds back-to-back which is a feat only SKT did back in 2015-2016. But as close as it was, EDG (LPL's #1 Seed), Won 3-2 against Damwon KIA and became the champion! Even though they were really close to winning back-back Worlds, Showmaker was still regarded as one of the best midlaners in the world and was also called the next Faker (but Showmaker just wants people to call him Showmaker and be known as just Showmaker). He then almost beated GENG in the worlds 2022 Quarters. He was still consistent in the LCK though some prominent figures such as BeryL, Ghost and Khan have left being replaced by Nuguri. Showmaker and Canyon were still in the Team. Until 2023 where they rebranded to D+Kia and where Nuguri left the team and only Canyon and Showmaker were the only true OG's left. They still managed to hold on but not really able to achieve as much back when they were still in their Prime (2020-2021 Era), though in 2023, they signed Deft in the roster who is now a world champion after completing the miracle run in Worlds 2022 together with DRX. It still didn't really change the outcome much for the team, they usually placed 4th place and still got to qualify for Worlds 2023 until they lost in the swiss stage to KT Rolster. In 2024, Canyon parted ways with Damwon after staying in the very beginning, until now. Showmaker was the only OG left showing his love and dedication with his team, Damwon. Stating " Until i'm gone from the scene, I'm Dplus KIA all the way. I'm here for life now ". He still showed impresive performances as Showmaker, maybe not that much as before but still amazing enough. Now with a team consisting of Kingen, Lucid, Aiming and Kellin. Showmaker will continue to show his Legacy and plays with Damwon until the very end! ~One of the best midlaners in the world and was also considered the next Faker in his prime, Showmaker! ❤

Dwg vs geng in 2022 worlds was such a legacy series for sm and canyon. Both of them tried their absolute hardest to 2v8. If not for them its a fast 3-0 for geng.
