I wouldn’t call this an Easter egg, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was actually sick when the Season Seven premier was recorded. The scene where Elaine was screaming at her neighbor’s barking dog must have been filmed after she got her voice back and was most likely inserted into the episode to explain the hoarseness of her voice.

That IS really awesome. The only way to catch it is if you have an amazing memory or for some reason stream them one after the other. And streaming didn't exist when that aired so unless you got really lucky watching them on syndication, you would never see them close enough together to catch that. Simply amazing. It's like the easter eggs some programmers put in early video games for the Atari. Sometimes the only way to find the easter egg is to look at the code for the game. But to do that in the 70s... I mean PCs didn't even exist yet. You'd have to design and build a device to read the data off of atari cartidges and print it off on a screen or paper. But even if you got the data, it's just binary. It's not meant to be read by a person. So you have to go through it one number at a time and literally decode what might be 30,000 numbers or more. Then depending on the easter egg, you might be able to go through the decoded text one letter at a time and see if any of it spells out anything meaningful or if it's just all computer instructions. If it's instructions then you have to decode what those instructions are. Write them out. Then reverse engineer the program to figure out what the instructions do. And then hope that those instructions have some sort of easter egg in them.

Anyone who was a teen or adult back then gets all the types of jokes Jerry, Larry David, and the other writers wrote that refer back to the 1960s. There are may jokes they had that refer back to that time that only people who lived in the 1960s would understand. That's one thing I really loved about the show. They were " inside" jokes that NO ONE would ever get unless they lived back then. It was genius.

Not just one of the best comedy shows but one of the best shows ever period. The way they kept up with every little detail and references from previous episodes/seasons was groundbreaking. Also to see the stars that passed thru the show and went on to stardom ( Teri hatcher/Debra messing etc...)....and then to get all those characters to come back for the finale was incredible. To me this show along with Three's Company are the two best comedy shows of all time. John Ritter's Jack Tripper and Jerry Seinfeld very different but yet similar in there will never be characters like them. Both geniuses in there own way.

The brown Ford Fairmont or Mercury Zephyrs that all of a sudden would not start? This was a blooper, the car was supposed to start but when it did not they just left it in and rightly so. So what happened?? These Fords all had an "inertia" switch in the trunk. I was a safety switch that would shut off the electric fuel pump if the car was struck from behind. When Kramer crashes that heavy AC into the trunk he inadvertently tripped the switch. This switch could also be tripped by simply slamming the trunk lid down to fast/hard. I remember driving down a street near a park and 7 lady's were pushing a station wagon up the street I was on. I asked what was up and one said the car would not start after just running fine. I asked if anyone of them had just closed the rear gate? Answer was yes, I got out opened the gate and reset the Button on the inertia switch, station wagon started right up. I got some nice hugs and a few kisses out of that one.

2 facts missed! 1 is randumb! Jerry mom (the actress) actually dated James Dean back in the day! And 2... the openings to the show in Season 8 & 9 have no comedy intros in the clubs (stand ups) After Larry left, Jerry was working soooooo HARD, he felt as if he couldn't also write stand up bits to do for the show as well.

O.J. (Otis Jerome) Anderson is the OJ that Elaine is refering to. She's reading a New York Giants football program in the 93 episode. OJ Anderson was Superbowl MVP for the 90/91 season. Played till 92. Probably a story about his career in that program... OJ Anderson had an interesting career... check it out. No double homicide.

25:53 Regarding "Pretty Woman" - There is a sticker over the letters "WO", so the back of the VHS-tape actually reads "PRETTY - - MAN". Maybe a small internal joke on Jason's behalf? (I imagine this would have been the reaction from Jason Alexander if he had noticed that: GEORGE: From "The Betrayal" in the Airplane to India: (Heavily sarcastic. He's angered at Jerry) "Good one. Very funny. You're very funny, Jerry. That's what I always tell people. (Yelling out) Jerry Seinfeld's a funny guy!"

There's a good Frasier joke too about Cartwright. Martin is out with someone and they had been talking about their favourite Bonanza characters. Later on he is mad at Niles and Frasier. Martin: Boy, I've had it with you guys. If you were "Hoss" and Little Joe, Ben Cartwright would kick your sorry butts right off the Ponderosa. Frasier: Dad. Dad, we're sorry. Niles: Very sorry. *Martin leaves* Frasier: He's back on the Cartwrights again. You know, some day we really should ask him just who the hell they are?

how about the fact that Jerry’s apartment is physically impossible, from the hallway the door is parallel to the wall, but inside there’s a cutout where the kitchen is
@joermnyc
@joermnyc Жыл бұрын
TV sets are blown open for better camera angle options. I think in real life the wall would be straight from the computer desk by the window across to the kitchen corner with the microwave. The end of the hallway seems to be the wall with the big framed photo of Shea Stadium next to Jerry’s bathroom, so I extrapolated from there. Some rare shots show a wall next to the right end of the kitchen cabinets, so the living space doesn’t have to be as narrow as that part of the kitchen.
