Lys Mediterranee was recommended to me by an associate at Barney's Beverly Hills quite a few years ago now when requesting a recommendation for a fragrance related to Kenzo pour Homme (91) [a signature of my late father] - the relation was not too much of a stretch for my imagination, and Lys Mediterranee ultimately became my wedding day fragrance. In a less salty way, I was recently intrigued by my wife's Luckyscent sample of Dusita's Cavatina which harkened back to White Linen Light Breeze and the similarly elusive Pure White Linen Light Breeze - albeit it in perhaps a more "unisex" version. Always appreciate your inclusion of Lys Mediterranee on your lists, Sebastian. More men need florals in their lives! ❤

Totally unrelated, but when someone pronounces Italian words correctly my heart grows a size! Thank you Sebastian for the effort in pronouncing Costa Azzurra and Basilico e Fellini correctly, it's very appreciated. Two of my favorite fragrances of the period btw, with Basilico e Fellini being so amazing and complex!

Thanks for once again a great list Sebastian! Ambra Calabria is such a masterpiece, love it. I don’t know if you ever tried Colonia Intensa from Acqua Di Parma? I discovered it recently and it quickly became one of my favorite fresh/summer scent. Its original because it has leather notes but they managed to keep it so fresh and so clean. Its the product of a collaboration between Albert Morillas and François Demachis, not surprised they nailed it.

Thanks for sharing this! There are a few from this list that I have not tried but I absolutely love the Bohemian Lime. For a citrus scent, it lasts for a long time on my skin and it's a 10/10 in my book. Can't wait to try "you or someone like you" and "Torino 21"!

I have new fragrance rom Marc-Antoine Barrois ENCELADE and it's beautiful. In my opinion perfect for summer - woody , fruity, fresh and looooong lasting 🤗🤗🤗Quentin Bisch is great perfumer 10/10.

Great picks Sebastian - some of my favorites here. For verbena I enjoy Pour Un Homme de Caron Sport. That one is cheap and gets little attention. Colognise is another warm weather favorite.

I’ve been enjoying another from The same collection of L’artisan called Bucoliques de Provence. When it first arrived I was a bit Disappointed, because it very simple, just three notes really, lavender, oris and leather, and that’s all I really get, but the simplicity makes it a very calm wear. The leather is just heavy enough to keep it from floating away, so it’s nicely blended. I’ve been using it at night to unwind before bed, works very well sprayed into a t-shirt, and end up waking up still smelling sweet and powdery the next morning,. It’s a very spa like fragrance. But even more fun, it’s simple profile makes it great for layering. You can put it over Encre Noir and take it to a more earth country forest feel, or you can brighten it up with something citrus, I’m wearing it over hacivat right now and it’s quite charming. Maybe you could do a video of your favorite relaxing fragrances. Do you ever spritz before bed?

What an awesome list Sebastian. I definitely want to look into the Lartisan parfumer you’ve mentioned. I’ve never tried anything from that brand and it seems like a great place to start. You mentioned you wear whatever fragrance you like in the summer. I myself enjoy wearing them seasonally so that when a new season comes I have something to look forward to that I haven’t tried in a while. But I do at times wear heavier frags in the summer. Just so long as it doesn’t have holiday vibes to it. I like wearing PDM darley in the summer as well as jubilation xxv on summer nights. I’ve also had good results with YSL Tuxedo at an indoor summer wedding. Enjoy your trip be safe.

Great list!!! Ambra Calabria fantasti!!! I just got my bottle of Paula's Ibiza woow! Love it! Need to try Calicanto and Lys Mediterranee. Costa Azzurra parfum is on my to buy list as well as Intense Cedrat Boise. I use more Heavy "Winter" scents in summer that the other way around, but I really like my fresh scents, I think Salado is still my No. 1. Thank you Sebastian!!!

lol I don't like fresh fragrances that much so I wear whatever I feel for, Santal 33 & Alexander II in the dead of summer at 11am out and about😂..... but I truly prefer airy sweet lighter fragrances during the hot days like Mula Mula. So far Ambre Magique from Mizensir is my office go to, it wears like a second skin imo.
