There was a courtroom based t.v show called L.A Law, one of the episodes guest starred Dan Castellaneta in a foam Homer Simpson costume. In the episode he plays a man who works in a theme park as a Homer Simpson performer, but he gets fired and refuses to stop wearing the costume claiming his termination was unjust.

I remembered the scene on Space Jam 1996, Dan C. was appeared seeing his favorite team, the New York Knicks while the aliens dressing like a fleshling in trench coat. Aww, the 1990s. I do miss that decade.

Except it kind of misses the point of what the problem was in the first place. Kunal is British and speaks with a prominent accent when he isnt Raj. If the point is to make Apu authentic. It should be more than changing the VAs appearance. He would just be doing another stereotypical Indian accent

I did quit watching the Simpsons series because it lacks of characters, development hell issues, some voice actors died and retired and the writing with bad jokes making it unwatchable. P.S. I do love Dinosaurs. My favorite series. 😊
