It’s times like this I wish KZbin had a love button instead of just a like button. Robin Williams was the greatest comedian to have ever lived. He spent his entire live putting smiles on peoples face and happiness in our hearts and yet couldn’t put one on his own. He will be forever missed, and I’ll speak for myself, but I’m sure the message will resonate among all of us, Robin if you can read or hear any of us… you will never be forgotten.

@@ashtaris2965Watched that for a film studies class, Robin and De Niro were masterful. Even in funnier movies like Patch Adams and Jumanji, he put such warmth and humanity in any role he was. Any sound guy knows you dont put your equipment in the center aisle unless you need to (big shows)...since the cables were short to the speakers i had to. He noticed me in the center aisle and said "Oh you are the sound guy to make sure i sound good." Without missing a beat, i turned up the gain on his microphone which caused lound feedback. The whole audience erupted with laughter and so did he. He came off the stage shook my hand, smiled and had a great show. Felt great knowing i could help him. RIP Robin. My Dad, Aaron Blaise, was the Lead Animator for Rajah the Tiger in Aladin. One of his most memorable behind the scenes moments was when he was at his desk animating away and suddenly he hears behind him in a silly deep bellowing voice "Aaron! It's time to go to lunch!". Dad whips around and it was Robin Williams with a Studio Guide. He being given a tour around the Studio at the time and saw my Dad working and decided to surprise him a little bit. Dad speaks highly of the visit. What a great man he was. My personal favorite improv of Robin Williams was during an USO Tour in Iraq. In mid stand up, the Reveille started to play on the loud speakers "UH OH" he yells and everyone stood and saluted the flag while Robin patiently waited. When it was done he was a bit confused at first and asked what that was all about and started cracking jokes about the moment.

My heart sank when on a school day waiting for school van to arrive I read the newspaper in my aunt's hands that had written Robin Williams died. Having always seen him do funny and goofy stuff making me roll laughing. I read loneliness took him. I knew then and there why I feared death. I never knew the guy but I felt so close as he touched my heart and funny bone. I haven't laughed like I did when he was in my room thru the television. Every single second he was in my sight I was happy, no matter how sad I was. He made me forget sometimes when I was in a dark place that I was there. I always knew Robin Williams would do VERY well in his guest spot on Whose Line... but what blew me away is the immediate chemistry he had with Wayne, Ryan and Colin and the fact that (as the video says) he plays well with other talented performers. He loves to give and doesn't dominate every game - he is great at the give/take of improv, which is a very collaborative form of comedy. You could tell he was DIALED IN from the first second and totally in his element.

They should have had Robin on as many Who's Line Is It Anyway? as often as they could have. That would have been history making that lasted forever. Robin was one in a billion. I hope that the next life has it where he's still entertaining the masses because I'd love to just sit and watch him. I don't think he realized how much he was loved. RIP

There will never be anyone as great in improv as Robin Williams. Even now, his loss still hurts. Robin will always be missed.

His most ad-libs were in the Patch Adams movie. BRILLIANT performance.
