Yhwach vs Yamamoto was wildly intense especially the the contrasting colors and the theme of sheer burning hellfire with Yamamoto. It foreshadows where he ended up upon death. It was the end of an era for Soul Society, now Shunsui is leading a more reformed and open Soul Society and Gotei 13.

No love for Ichigo vs Ulquiorra from Bleach? Ichi getting killed with a cero, going beserk with a vasto lorde transformation with a primordial roar while holding out his hand to have Zangetsu fly into it from far away still lives rent free in my head. The green from Lanza del Relepango vs Ichigo's Vasto Lorde Cero, Ulqiourras Cero Oscuras, against the black and and white landscape of Heuco Mundo and the top of Las Noches.... Just gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.

Well the new anime called Wistoria's Wand And Sword has been having wonderful animation for the fight scenes. I strongly recommend watching a few episodes. It's about a boy named will that actually cannot use magic but it is an excellent swordsman. The world is filled with people with wands and able to use certain type of magic but he has to find ways to defeat them without the use of magic. Each animation fight scene from each episode is a joy to watch. Surprise Gurren Lagann, or any of the other productions from trigger made this list. Except delicious and dungeons was from trigger so it is on this list. Seriously there's so many great fight scenes that's kind of hard to pin down one or more.

This list is about visually stunning animation. Not about hyped transformations Common sense , I guess? And for your kind information, Goku vs broly was way better animated and visually stunning. Saitama vs boros came 10 years ago ,and still it was more visually stunning that Goku vs jiren And Goku vs Jiren came literally 5 years earlier than luffy vs kaido. Do you even understand the advancement in technologies and servers in 5 years of time span?? Ofcourse crunchyroll improved its technology, its servers after its crash. And it has become a better and bigger company than 2018. Of course it can now easily handle a large amount of audience watching something at the same time. But crunchyroll still crashed for a few minutes when the fight came.

Especially since it was the student surpassing the mast type of fight.

A lot of these fights are mostly VFX heavy. You should mention some of the raw and grounded martial arts combat like in Ninja Kamui for example 🔥 lots of badass fight choreography there, some of the best I've ever seen.

As an alternate entry for Demon Slayer I would have said the fight between Himejima &Tamayo vs Muzan from the last episode of the Hashira training arc should have made the list as that whole last episode's animation was on another level but soglad that Demon Slayers vs Daki and Gyutaro got the love it deserved.

You didn’t even pick the most visually stunning fight for at least two different shows here:JJK and Fate. Several battles in the Heaven’s Feel movies beat that one from Apocrypha. And the JJK fight they picked is certainly good, but in terms of visual spectacle? It doesn’t top Sakuna vs Jogo or Sakuna vs Mahoraga from that same season. If it was best fight choreography or something, I think I might agree though.

@@nikgokuhil I honestly think the Luffy v Lucci was better visually in general. Like don’t get me wrong I LOVE the Kaido fight and Ik everyone has their own preference. That being said I do have more to nitpick about it than I do with the Lucci fight. Could be just the way a moment was handled, how long the anime held onto a frame, or just how some other choices they could have considered but for Lucci’s fight I don’t really have that. Whether its because I’m biased or because the Kaido fight was longer and more popular so I have more to be picky about but I just don’t have anything like that towards the Lucci fight. I love the Egghead animation (took me a second to actually not dislike it but now I love it), the impact frames and choreo hit me harder and looked just as cool in a different way imo, the colors were just as if not more fun and vibrant, and each frame just did its job and moved along. Like I said prolly just personal preference but I genuinely found Luffy vs. Lucci more visually captivating.
