Great list, Ash. Crazy thing about Krakoth, I solo`d Soul Cross Sand Devil with her last round. Took about an hour, but the only champion I had under the restrictions that could do it 😊

Remember, some of these champs have been in the game for 5 plus years. A lot has changed since that time. Some were very positively because of certain strats and team ups that were almost necessary when the game was in it's early days. Now, the sheer number of champs now in the game, the power creep of these new champs and changes that the game has undergone, these are no longer viable or at least, not very efficient. Also, some champs that have been buffed, are also undervalued due to old ratings on in the database.

@@jamesgish9202 100% heal reduction debuff that Missionary has. I have a couple others that have this ability now too but this was my first one that could do this. Prevents UDK from regenerating. Book it up you can get it on a 3 turn cool down. With masteries in the support tree choose the mastery of 30% chance to extend debuff to 3 turns. Still not always easy to take UDK down if combined with certain other champions, like Revivers, veil, or block damage champs. Need to also add alot of accuracy to missionary. You can also use Sun Wukong to sheep UDT down to 50% HP first, then hit him with Missionary. Does not always work but took me from near 0% chance against UDT to beatable unless other champs around him also have annoying abilities. Not enough champs that have abilities to counter these things with some of these champs almost unbeatable. Only champ I have that can block revive is uncommon and only have one rare that can ignore block damage buffs. Sun Wukong and a few others can remove buffs if timed at the right time and resistance is overcome.

I use him, he's not a heavy damage dealer, but built for hp/def/resist and he can do some work. Also, his A2 drops any champ it hits to 50% health, which is good for dealing with some of the high hp champions

Juliana is solid if you pull her early. She will be your clan boss carry for a long time. Also solid In Dragon. She falls off in the late to end game but still can be used.

Unfortunately, Plarium nudges you to build out some of these bad epics to clear content. As for Relic Keeper, I use fused copies of him for books and empowerment as I get more doubles for faction guardians so not much of a loss there.

Thank you for the video! Unrelated, I'm desperate for a video going over each gear set in detail explaining which areas of the game to use and types of champs (and examples) who would/wouldn't benefit form it. And explaining which stats/substats are best for each set (I know, some are obvious, but others are not). Missionary with his heal block debuff has gotten me through alot of battles with ultimate death knight. You need to use all the books to get it to a 3 turn cool down on humble the faithless and for masteries the support tree to get a chance at a 3 turn heal block. There are alot of regenerating champions and gear in this game far more then available champs with heal block. I use him alot. Perfect for those people who put UDK with Regen gear alone in Arena to frustrate people.

1. Bushi's passive can be used to solo sand devil in regen gear 2. I had leveled Snorting Thug to level 50 and used him for magic keep for a long long time - dealing with that shield can be difficult for some early level players - he will always have a special place in my account, I probably will never 6 star him ... but he is also very good anti-paragon to stack high enough accuracy for someone who is beginner or low to mid level 3. Scion I agree with for when you get him as a free login champ, that 100% heal reduction can be good for Amius The rest of these I totally agree with - I'm too lazy to look for 3 epics to replace them, but I'm sure there are plenty out there I've never leveled that can take their place!

So I *have* invested in Ursine Icecrusher, and while he's not an amazing Champion, he is sturdy, and helpful in Faction Wars and in events that limit your choices. I wouldn't give him a priority, of course, especially if you have other, better Champions... But let's remember many of us don't HAVE a stable of OP, elite-geared Champions! Same for Juliana: if you don't pull very often (like me!) and you don't get great Champions (of any grade), she's not *terrible.* I pulled Bushi recently and was disappointed. Yes: Yaga, Scion, Reinbeast, Pitiless One, Lady Eresh... all are terrible and sitting in the vault. My team was killed by Relickeeper when I was starting out, and I thought he was good--but now I have him and you're right, he's not. Gonna agree on Tolf--and really, any Epic who has only three skills! What the hell is THAT about? I would absolutely pay you to work your magic on buffing these Champs!

OK.. Tolfy got a Phantom solo video from Hell Hades about two months ago. Something about not able to crit meaning not able weak hit either.. That said i'm thinking a fair warning is that with endgame gear sets you can pretty much solo a bunch of content. But maybe that should be a video series of it's own, trying to solo some juicy stuff with CC's god tier gear sets. How about a top 10-20 solo champion showcase to get the community juices flowing 😊? Where them solo champion ranking vids at 🤷‍♀️.. P.S. Ash you should maybe form a bad lvl 60 epic support group for all the Fearmongerers and trusty Yaga buiders out there. My Sacred order secret room had no chance for a long time where I had the bad half of those epics. My top 2 might have been Sanguina and Mistress of Hyms at one point. Finally after over a year I pulled Godseeker randomly off a void and 2 Deacon Armstrongs off prism shards. Hope and Canoness I never got use from. I have fed like 2 Adriels since Relikeeper has filled up most my faction guardians. I was able to +2 empower my Juliana. She has beem useful in Cursed city frost spider. Quickly on lizards I Was pissed I pulled Drake off prism shards that I ginded d divers to 5000. I have to be careful about how many bad champs they sneak into prism shard events lol

I know I am late to the party here BUT. Tolf the maimed's A1 is always a "normal" hit, so can't crit and can't be weak. So you can use him the same way we do Gnarhorn for Shogun. Not saying he is great but at least he has SOME, kind of usage. Gnarlhorn can also aoe taunt and get unkillable, but hey lets ignore that part. What frostbringer have going for her is the fact that there are not a lot of heal reduction for that rotation of Amius, so yeah I saved her and I will build her whenever I can start ty even attempt Amius normal.

Pitiless one is a great early to mid game champ. He cycles his AoE so fast that he isn't half bad. He has so much chance to stun if you put him in stun set. Good fast campaign farmer, good for normal fire knight to take down the shield. Good for wave based content. Juliana is another one. Talk about a solid CB champ. Would take her over any trash from the bottom list any day. There are far more awful champs for sure. Like for example Suwai firstborn, Alaric the hooded, Fearmonger, Chancellor Yasmin, Lordly Legionary, Gerhard the stone, Marksman, Jinglehunter, Baroth the bloodsoaked, Jotunn, Lorn the cutter, Galkut, Snorting thug, Flesh-Tearer, Ripper, Yaga, Defiled sinner, Balthus, Karam, Hexia, etc ABSOLUTE TRASH THIS LOT and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

i disagree with terrorbeast. the 2 turn stun sure on a 4 turn cooldown but for 2 turns its a rare thing to find in raid, and can completely lock out an enemy plus does a fair bit of damage with good survivability

I don't think it redeems them enough to take them off the list by any means, but Frostbringer is a decent option for Wixwell CB teams for increase speed because she also brings decrease defense and increase attack. I use her in my Wixwell team. Bushi also has CB use. I used to have an unkillable CB team that my stun target would either be Torturehelm or Bushi, depending on affinity.

I love exploring with epics so I've built a lot of these. Bergoth still isn't a great champ but although his provoke isn't 100%, I feel a lot of people miss that it is a 2 turn provoke AOE, not just 1 turn.

Only a new player - been playing just over 4 months. one benefit of Relic Keeper is the attack aura for campaigns. I have him at level 50 in an okay instinct set combined with a level 60 Merouka in a bolster set. I can then pretty much put any two other champions with them to clear a campaign to farm and quickly improve low ranking champions.

Relic keeper is an Epic. Fellhound, a rare can farm brutal campaign alone in 9 seconds with the right gear. So basically, the only thing relickeeper is good for, he's really bad at.

And nightmare might give more xp, but xp vs energie I believe brutal 12-3 is best. Plus taking 3 food there is very doable, on nightmare it's really rough

Please check Lady Eresh again: 1) you build her with 100% crit rate 2) she buffs herself with increased attack and crit damage 3) AOE with 20% extra turn and turn meter fill 4) in case of extra turn goes with double hit and weaken 5) with low health goes to perfect veil, which is not as good as unkilable on skullcrown, but still can help and save her 6) you build her in crushing rend + savage and she is a monster 💀

Rank all void champions next. Mostly epics and legendary champions. Edit: 2:09 Blind seer, Fatalis, Ginro, Ailil. I don't know which one to choose but for voids they all suck.

I don't comment often on youtube videos, but I had to agree with you on every champion on this list EXCEPT for Juliana, especially as an early game player (about 2months). She has been the hardest hitting champion on my demon boss team ever since I unlocked her! Now that I have the free log-in ninja, I was curious to see how he would compare to her, and somehow she still out damages (about double) my ninja on the demon boss team! Granted, I have mostly early-game gear, healers, and stats, but IMHO that's still saying alot about what Juliana could do for new players!

FYI the damage comparison with between my lvl60 6star ascended ninja full masteries and my lvl50 5star ascended Juliana tier3 masteries, gear on both as recommended by HellHades website.

@@GreatJohn-vv9sc More then likely its because ninja takes legendary books which lower the cooldown of skill useage and new players dont have a lot of those.

They need to just undo the nerfs from Rein Beast and at least he would still be used. I remember wanting him so bad and never got him until the nerfs, now I have two that are just sitting in the vault. And I'm with you Ash on, Bushi, his name just doesn't sound right to me even though it does mean something different in Japanese. Especially once you hear about a certain group of protected people that call a certain hole a bussy. Another thing the worse you can pull with a void is Harrier, I have too many of them that if rare empowered becomes a thing I could make two at +4 and one at +2. On a side note I noticed some epics like Dark Athiel or even Yaga cannot be empowered. Maybe you awesome and smart content creators can look into some epics that cannot be empowered and give good reasons as to why they should be or shouldn't. Anyway peace out Ashman.

Of course I pulled for Krisk and after going 208 voids deep I got Gurgoh and you mention him right off the bat. Next Norog, they need to buff the hell out of Norog. As far as the epics, I can't argue to much with this list.

What to do with Yaga when you have a dearth of Skinwalker champions for Faction Wars? Well first I had to stop thinking of Sangria, then look him up online and give enough artifacts, etc to use him while still hoping for much better and keeping him away from any books or masteries. Unfortunately the next one I got was Drake...which was enough to make me think more about the sangria. 😂

I actually like relickeeper, If he can be kept alive and with enough Attack, Crit Damage\Rate, that Campaign Aura, as well as , as early as in the game, you get him, Many legos serve his purpose, and then some, but for early game.

As many peeps have said, Juliana shouldn't be on the list. Juliana has some use cases; she's a competent DPS for CB, and she lowers the speed requirements for the Myth-Heir comp (there's a Deadwood jedi video on it).
