If you discount the fact that RVCE is in Bangalore thus attracts a bit more companies in placement, there are many other good private colleges. 3 differrent BITS, Thappar, Manipal all offer very high quality education and learning experience. RVCE is certainly among top 10 private schools in India. But, not in top 3.

Atleast rank you have given I don't agree definitely BVB comes under top 10 Engineering college you can go by rank wise selection in kcet or placement in recent days,I believe my college BVB (Kle technological University ) is the No1 choice because there everything what you get in so called Bangalore top colleges,there r companies in wide variety visit campus from mass recruiters to dream companies which offer 30LPA as well in recent years,moreover Cost to return ration is best I hardly spent 3LPA for 4 years it includes everything, moreover best part is apart from placement you will encouraged to do many things like motorsport club,airo modeling clubs,hackothons,robotic exhibition etc
