there's a variation of the gold leaf rookies Mussina. I would think that would be a higher sale price than the correct version since its harder to find. Its numbered 276 instead of bc12. Had a few when they first came out. The henderson and Ryan seemed to show up every couple packs. Easy pulls

hey what about a video of lowest pop. graded of old "cut" cards from 1920's I know it would be hard to research. but videos bout time someone took the time to do this. glad to see you are actually doing this. I know with everyone in cards collecting. that thought of doing a vlog or videos like this. just glad to see you did it. and showing a lot of cards that no one even thinks about. thank you

I had such an amazing time collecting Baseball cards through the 1980s and well into the 1990s. However, it started to get out of hand somewhere in the late 90s, when there were an over abundance of "extra sets", "inserts", and "specialized packs". It became near impossible to keep up with. Foil. Inserts. Specialized Comemerative Sets. Specialized Rookie Set. GOLD Foils. Signature Sets. GAME WORN JERSEY SETS!!!! It was ridiculous. As a kid, it was fun to go to the local convenience store and grab a few packs of Topps or Fleer. I remember being really excited when Bowman came back on the market, too. However, being just out of High School and not having near enough money to keep up with the ever expanding number of yearly Sets, I felt like the Hobby had priced itself out of favor with its original fans. Now, there are SO MANY different kinds of Cards, it is really confusing and almost intimidating for a young kid to get started. I completely understand kids wanting to get into Magic the Gathering or Pokémon over the Baseball Card hobby at the moment.

Thumbs up of course. Appreciate the detail and work on this with a blow up of the actual cards and the auction info. I do have a couple of clarifications. The actual title should be the 25 highest sold cards from the 1990's. At least two of these cards are not considered RC's, the Jeter and the Ramirez. That should be noted. Also, with a Pop 1 of Thomas NNOF selling back in 2012, what would it sell for today? It would likely dwarf Jeter's accepted RC of the 93 SP. Still, good job and worth 14+ minutes of my time.

Great presentation. It’s so strange looking up the value of these $100-200 cards NOW. Psa gem pop low count. Imagine this. The owner of the PSA10 NNOF Thomas RC gets Thomas to sign his name in the blank slab. I think a PSA10 card and PSA10 auto of that card would be the most epic and pricy baseball card of the 90's. Even more than the 93SP Jeter PSA10.
@rustyshackleferd2044 жыл бұрын
What you think about the 1996 metal universe cards and why none on the list. I know population very low but imo the most beautiful cards and the series has all the big names from the 90s.

thanks Matt. From '90-'95 I was pizza delivery driver and spent some tip money on packs of cards. Sometimes the more expensive types with only a few cards in them. About a year ago a guy in a card shop said most 90's cards were all commons, sigh. One card in the bunch could be big in a seller's market! OK, a couple of them.
@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR5 жыл бұрын

I'm new to the channel and just wondering: When you say "population of" - does that mean the number of those cards available on ebay/auction or that's the number of those cards that have ever gotten a PSA 10 grade?

The latter
@SteefPip5 ай бұрын
I have that the full sets of Topps 90-92, unfortunately they're all badly off centered, the Sosa is so bad the top part of the info on the back is cut off. I also just straight up am missing Pudges and Bagwells rookies which really annoys me. I do have that Chipper Jones draft pick card, unfortunately no desert shield and my Frank Thomas had his name. What a disappointing yet worth it trip down memory lane.

How do you find your population numbers? I recognized the Mike Mussina card (population of 111 according to your video) and sure enough, still had one in a box, but when I checked eBay, there are tons of them there, with one of them selling for a penny. :(
@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR5 жыл бұрын
The population reports are referring to how many cards were graded PSA 10, gem mint condition, not how many cards were printed. You can check out more info on PSA's website at PSAcard.com go to the population report page and type in the cards you want to look up. 👍

Some of these Topps Traded cards are from complete sets that I have. The sets are still in plastic and unopened. Does that mean that the sets are more valuable, or do the cards from the unopened factory sets still have to be graded? I would love to sell them lol...I would most likley sell them for super cheap. I haven't collected for over 20 years.
@Chappy5204 жыл бұрын
from my understanding not all sets are guaranteed to have said cards in them . some do some don't . I to am currently going through all my childhood cards to see what i have . its very difficult . apparently everything produced between 1980 - 2000 was all mas produced and does not hold much value .( but there are some ) again more info I've been recently told .
