@@camikelly2356 I think that verbolten being at my home park has tainted my view of the ride, because I’ve seen this coaster on bad days, good days, lights on, no effects at all, I’ve seen so much of this ride I know it’s faults and it’s tainted my ability to love this ride. Refreshing presentation of Sarah's top 25. Just honest and not heavily technical. And I feel you regarding the sentimental #1 as mine is Phantom's Revenge. My coaster that sparked my enthusiasm for coasters was the Galaxi. Was originally at a small park outside of Pittsburgh called White Swan Park but is now in Lubbock, Texas. Used to marathon it all day.

Nitro is literally the perfect out and back roller coaster. There’s nothing particularly special about it’s layout at all but for its age is still insanely smooth, the drop really hits, the turnaround on it is insane, the helix is intense, and the bunny hills at the end give you so much amazing floater airtime. It’s one of the single most re-rideable coasters I’ve ever been on. I want to hit other B&M hypers just to compare to see how much they’ve improved on Nitro or if they haven’t really

You know it's absolutely sad, but besides twisted typhoon and boomerang at wild adventures, Velocicoaster was my 1st big coaster after having my 2 girls. I rode it on opening week, and I thought I was going to die on that second launch 😂 but I loved it. We were able to do rider parent swap and I got right back on. Now, I just want more and more. Hopefully I'll be riding my first RMC this summer, either Airieforce 1 or twisted Cyclone. Cannot wait until my six year old is tall enough to ride too! She loves coasters!

I actually much prefer the batwing on Afterburn. It feels so much more powerful. I do probably prefer Montu due to the much longer layout though.

I'll just do my top 10 because my credit list is only like 55 but: 1. T express (Just rode this for the 1st time last month and it's INSANE. I need to get on El Toro to compare honestly.) 2. Storm runner (Always been my favorite coaster for the unique elements until last month) 3. Skyrush (The restraints actually don't bother me) 4. Maverick (I don't know what to say, it's just good) 5. Intimidator 305 (It's been like 10 years since I rode this but, no other ride has made me nervous about riding it again) 6. Steel Vengeance (I actually hate the restraints. If the rest of the ride wasn't so damn good, this wouldn't be so high. RIP my shins) 7. Candymonium (HersheyPark is my home park ok...) 8. Fahrenheit (Underrated af) 9. Volcano (I'll miss this) 10. Giant Digger (Brand new Mack launch coaster in Busan Korea, and it's quite fun actually.)

El Toro is a ride EVERY coaster fan has to ride. I prefer the front row myself just because the ejector air is so much more powerful but the back row (or the supposed magic row 11) are good too.

Just went on Voyage the 1st time last weekend. It was good but I felt like the airtime was floater at best. I guess the night rides are way better. Legend after the retrack was amazing! Smooth and strong airtime! My favorite in the park. Thunderbird #2 Voyage #3 in park. Raven was just rough. Sarah did a great video. Verboten used to be in my top 5 actually. Funny maverick thoughts too!

I have sentimental reasons for Toro as well. I fell out of being an active enthusiast when I was in college and I went on a trip to New York. My brother and I figured we like coasters we will check the six flags because it wasn't far. After being disappointed to not get on Kingda Ka because it was broken down we went on El Toro. I had never heard of it. I thought it was just gonna be another wooden roller coaster. What I got was one of the best experiences in my life. I was crying. My brother didn't like it haha he thought it was too scary. 🤣 It made me fall in love with coasters again. I have only been on it twice and it's been years but I remember that experience like it was yesterday. Good times....

Went to Florida earlier this month and got my first rides on the following: - GOTG Cosmic Rewind (7 rides) - Velocicoaster (3 rides, one at Night) - Iron Gwazi (longest line, only 1 sunset ride…) I still can’t decide which one I thought was “THE BEST”. But I gotta say, I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun on a rollercoaster than during my first ride on Cosmic Rewind.

As a guy who lives in southwest Missouri I often ask myself why Cedar Point, arguably the biggest roller coaster destination in the world has tickets with half the price of Silver Dollar City tickets.

I would say Silver Dollar City is much more of a “theme park” whereas Cedar Point is an “amusement park”, although CP has decent theming from what I’ve seen. I’ve also noticed that the parks with more theming usually have higher ticket prices as you’re paying more for the overall experience. I live in between both Six Flags America & Kings Dominion/Busch Gardens and the price difference between a Six Flags ticket and a Kings Dominion ticket is astounding 🤣

Silver Dollar City silver season passes are about in line with Cedar Point's gold pass. SDC has free parking for everyone, so silver is all you need. SDC is a park that really needs to be experienced throughout the year, as every season will feel quite different. That's why they push season passes by having them not much higher than a day ticket. But for distant travelers, SDC has 2 & 3 day ticket options that's only a little higher than a 1-day ticket. So other than a 1-day option, SDC is right in line with CPs pricing, but I feel that Silver Dollar City is perhaps the best park in the world.

My favorite ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is Apollo’s Chariot I haven’t ridden Pantheon yet,it opened a few months after I was there. I’m going to Universal studios Orlando next year for my 30th birthday,it’s been about 7 years since I was there last and I’m excited to ride the velocicoaster.

Verbolten over Pantheon is a really hot take, but I understand the subjective bias. I'm just someone who's biased in the complete opposite direction - I know it's far from a bad ride, but it's my least favorite by far.

@@F9109-r1e I think this reflects more on Pantheon. Other than the entry sign and lead car, the ride is unthemed, and the station is the bare minimum. This standard of presentation would already be poor for a Six Flags, and is unacceptable for Busch Gardens. Even though Verbolten's show building is a downgrade from what was there before, it at least is an attempt at theming.
