@@agrippa7712 The reunion was for only ten days, so very fast and bittersweet. She was jet-lagged by the time difference and desperate to get a lot of personal business done while in the states. Next time, I’ll be going to her and it won’t be so rushed!

I remember one of the last times my grandma came to visit. I was making a snack before bed, eggs or something, as I was standing in front of the stove Grandma came and hugged me from behind. She just held me and gently rocked back and forth. It was very random and soothing. She was the sweetest lady.

This just reminds me of when I met my mum for the first time in 11 years back in 2017, I went into foster care when I was 4 years old, and 11 years later got to meet my mum, and my 2 baby sisters I didn't know about untill that first phone call, I won't ever forget that day, I recently turned 18 and left foster, and it just seems like life is back on track.

I hope I could still surprise my mom and dad when I come back to my county been away for 4 years now, haven’t back since then…I hope I could still do that…but now..it is impossible…I missed them so much… My Dad died before I go abroad..and my mom died while I am here away from our country….for both occasions haven’t have the chance to say goodbye….
