Just play more. Like he said shoot bots to get gunny up and then just play. Also try to save both good and bad gameplays and go back over them so you can analyze your own gameplay. It will help to get better spawn knowledge and understand timings faster

how long did it take you to get to top250? and best tips to do it?

There are a lot of factors like whether or not you have a 4 stack at all times and even what rank you are starting from. Honestly the most time consuming part would be staying in top 250 once you get there, even I struggle with that since I just don't have the time.
