Hey Edwin, I’m 72 and to me you are a young guy. I love to see that your family is so important to you and your fishing. Hope to see a video of fishing trip with your young ones teaching them how to fish. Wishing you the best of luck in in 2021. You are the kind of guy that gives bass fishing a good name.

Good info for anyone that fished year round. I like the fact that the lakes are all quieter now and no mad rushes at the boat ramp. This is a great time to catch a PB . With so little fishing pressure it is a rare time that the bigger bass let their guard down just a little bit. All of those baits you talked about have proven themselves year after year after year. It just makes sense to put the odds as much in your favor as possible. The bites will usually be fewer but the quality can be the best you get all year. A good blade bait is also a fine option for this time of year. You can’t catch them sitting on the couch so go fishing. Maybe you could do a video on your best cold weather gear. It is hard to stay focused on fishing if you are freezing half to death. One more note it is absolutely critical to wear your life vest and to USE your kill switch lanyard correctly this time of year. It can truly be the difference between a good story to tell your friends and your name in the obituary column

I love the fact that you take your time and describe the months different lake types, and you never insinuate because a bait is by a certain company is better you always talk about how it’s first the weather and how they are maneuvering! Without you and others their experiences and I’m a pretty good fisherman with no debts finders yourself for years fission but there’s always something that we could do better by listening to people and pros like you we become better angles and then better teachers thank you for all your voice every month even it was just a day out on the water your experience helps others
