XR+Apple smart case, I can go for Days. Literally watching Netflix before sleep forget it on and wake up with nearly %11 down if not less (both batteries). Advice though don’t take it out/in repeatedly the silicon is very brittle (had it on my iPhone 7)

The Apple battery case actually has 2 1369 mah battery’s inside so technically it’s over 2700 mah . Look it up 😱

Fabian Calzada you get more percentage out of it though. Becuase they went with two battery cells instead of one, they could increase the watt output like 5 or 6 watts higher than the original battery case. So less energy is wasted charging the phone. You can easily get 8 hours of moderate use and keep your phone at 100 percent

I had an apple smart battery case for my old iPhone 6. After only a few weeks of using it the phone battery was shot. The iPhone 6 battery life wasn’t the greatest to start with but after the battery case it was substantially worse.

I like the mophie access. In a way, it won’t go obsolete. You can still use it as a charging base with other wireless devices.

I use the Otterbox Defender case on my iPhone XS Max. I use this case not just because of protection but because of how it adds bulk and I enjoy holding a bigger and secure case instead of just using the phone without the case. I would use these battery cases for the same reason besides just adding battery!

The incase one and mophie one operate with wireless charging to charge the phone, which means there is a lot of power loss so they have larger batteries, while Apple's case charges directly into the lightning port which is way more power efficient.

The smart battery case indeed occupied the port but it has a lightning port on it and you can use the port with accessories.

Did you say the Apple case turned itself on and off automatically? I thought it was always on and kept a steady charge to the iPhone until it went dead. Which made me wonder if that was good for the iPhone battery being at 100% charge for many hours. Has Apple changed the design and added the capability of not turning on until the phone battery is low?

I meant that it turns off when you take the phone out. It does stay on as long as the phone is in the case, even at 100% charge. And no, it’s not bad for the phone since it’s just trickle charging & knows when it’s fully charged

Wireless charging from the battery case to the phone just seems like a terrible idea. It's way less efficient which not only results in smaller capacity, but also adds a lot more heat

When I got a smart battery case my batteries maximum capacity was 99% and after about two or three weeks it was at 94%. I returned the case after seeing that. The smart battery case is constantly charging the battery and that can’t be good.

None of those seem to be a good charging case unless you want to spend $130 for the Apple one. The other 2 require android chargers for the case and then the Apple charger for the phone so you’d need 2 different chords plugged in at night.

Thanks man you’re the best. Would you recommend buying a used or refurbished X that includes money back guarantee? Especially if you don’t care about minor scratches and stuff that doesn’t effect functionality. Also assuming you already have the have the case, how can you determine estimated remaining lifetime or if it’s performing on par with new ones?

Don’t say they have protection.... lmao!! I still can’t find a battery case that provides enough of a lip to protect the screen on falling face flat. They are pretty much flush with the screen=no protection that matters. I’ve been looking for one reasonably priced, with no luck. None of these “Protect” bro, they provide extra battery life, that is all.

The Encased is the definition of protection. Plus it comes with a tempered glass screen protector. Most people who care about protection already have a screen protector though

So, according to Apple’s website, this case is only rated at a total of 1369mah. How much extra time are you actually getting from having it on board? It says it adds 37 hours of talk time...!?!?!?! That doesn’t seem to add up with it only beings total of 1369 mah. Please share your findings. Thank you!!!

Watching your video on the Apple case why didn’t it show it being charged on your phone ? That’s the problem with those cases is they charge non stop killing the battery health I know first hand I have a XS & XS Max ! Apple should have put a on / off button and less then a yr my XS Max battery health went from 100% ( new ) to 92% ! I called Apple they said there was a flaw with it ( the case ) ok switched it out 2 weeks later dropped to 91% so in the end like I told the Apple tech these cases will hurt the battery cells Because they don’t drain them at all and with a Constant charge it’s a overload 🤷🏻‍♂️ so if you wanna replace your battery sure go for it ! Now the Morphie case at least has the ON/OFF button but die much faster ! With these newest phones really no need for the battery pack TBH , I’ll keep both phones and wait til the IPhone 12 or maybe get the XI Pro Max IDK yet but these battery packs IMO are junk ... watch your battery health ..... JS

TEXAS I’ve had Mophie cases for three phones and the case lasted the entire time I owned the phone. And was in good enough condition that bundled it with the phone when I sold it. Plus their warranty service is excellent.
