My question is will any animatronics be in the water? I mean got semi-submerged animatronics with splash mountain. And, with one camera shot, we did see like moving plants in the water.

Glad they re-did Splash Mountain, but I’m disappointed that Dr. Facilier won’t be making an appearance. Yes, I know he’s unalived at the end of the movie, but Keith David was and is an absolute legend! It would even add the “fear” factor to the drops even more scary! And it gets the WHOLE POINT of the movie going.

I have a really good idea for this new ride. They should completely scrap everything and make the story about a fox and a bear chasing a rabbit, and at the end, there should be a big scene with a showboat where all the other animals are singing 'Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah'. I think that would be so much better.

SUPER excited to see the final version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure! Like many, I was sad when Splash Mountain closed and it was a ride that my family and I would always make sure we got time on each time we visited, but I'm sure they'll throw small 'easter eggs' in the new ride to honor the old one! The one I'm actually most sad about is Dinosaur, we always loved that ride too and remember watching the movie as kids, and my late mother in law adored the ride, so I'm hoping whatever replaces it is certainly worth it!

While I love all the concept art we're getting for DAK, I think it's a bit silly to disregard dinosaurs completely from the land. I think "tropical Americas" is a great fit especially with so many IPs fitting so neatly, but I wish we could at least keep the Dino Institute. That also fit the spirit of DAK very well.

You know what's ironic? America's tropics, which are located in the Yucatan Peninsula, is also the same location where the giant crater is where scientists theorized that wiped out the dinosaurs. Now, Dinoland U.S.A. is about to be wiped out by something that's themed to the Yucatan.

14:39 I believe they don't need to be steps but rather stacked CNC-parts that represent different terrain height levels. Creating these models is enormously time-consuming, so using thicker parts would be sensible to reduce the number and still capture the overall sense of elevation. If I'm not mistaken, the Encanto facade would be situated on a hill, and the path has not been included in this model yet.

Dude the Animal Kingdom project is by far one of the best projects to come out of WDI in probably the last couple of decades! Animal Kingdom was one of my highest bucket list theme parks to visit in the world and it fully delivered IMO! I had a lot of people tell me don’t go to Animal Kingdom it’s a waste of time and money but I honestly thought it was a top tier Disney Park just right behind Epcot but I go back and forth from the two; Animal Kingdom honestly does not deserve the hate it gets the scenery is some of the best I’ve seen in almost any theme park the idea of animals and humanity living in harmony and keeping the ideals of conservatism was truly magical in its own right that Disney really does a great job with! This park really does deserve the expansion it’s getting and I’m all for that I just really hope Disney doesn’t copy Disneyland’s Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye attraction for this version but if they don’t and go with an original story it’s gonna be great I absolutely cannot wait to see it! I will hold my breath for Test Track that’ll be more like the original instead of a commercial board for Tron but if it pays homage the Test Track 1.0 then I know it’ll be great!!!

I haven’t been THIS excited for a new Disney attraction in a LONG time - I have followed every update on TBA. One tiny detail that bugs me tho is with the Mama Odie animatronic (who is arguably the most impressive): she has her teeth in! In the film, her eyes and teeth are in a glass jar (not to say she can’t put them back in I guess to enjoy some beignets 😂)
