Ooh War of the Ring sounds really great! Might have to add that one ro my list. For Arkham Horror LCG, I'm so happy they started doing the characters packs and the campaigns separate. Dunwitch is very fun! There's one scenario I didn't love, but still enjoyable overall 😊

If you have one another person willing to play a complex 5-hour game with you, then War of the Ring is an amazing thematic experience haha! -Ryan

The two biggest for me in November were both at the end of the month. First, my family up in Wisconsin are all big on Cribbage, so every time we go up north we are playing a bunch. My second game is one I just got in the week before Thanksgiving and got to play it 6 times by the end of the month with 12 different people: Thunder Road Vendetta! It is such a wildly fun experience! It can be silly, it can be tense, it can be epic.

We have had family cribbage tournaments almost every year with my dad's side of the family! Really a great game for it as it is quick, two player, has interesting decisions, but also enough luck that it's anyone's game. Thunder Road is one of the top games on my wishlist for the next year! -Ryan

Skull King seems to be the modern trick taker that has made it past the hobby gamer world. I often come across people who don't know hobby games but have played Skull King. My favorites of the month were Bomb Busters, which was a fun new deduction game for me, and I introduced a few people to Nidavellir who enjoyed it!

Bomb Busters looks very interesting! I really enjoy deduction games but often have a harder time getting them to the table. -Ryan

Endeavor: Deep Sea is my latest play. Really fun. I’ve only played the first scenario but it’s a challenging puzzle and seems like it’ll have a huge amount of variability

I've played the first 3 scenarios and I'm really enjoying it! My only qualm is all my games have been 2 player, so I'm really looking forward to trying with more. But really happy with it so far. -Ryan

Some notable games for me: 3. Istanbul (Played this for the first time ever) 2. Snow Tails (Played this for the first time ever) 1. GI Joe Deck Building Game

Nice, actually haven't tried any of those. Istanbul was always one that seemed like it could be a solid family weight game. -Ryan

“oops.” Hahahaha Arkham Horror LCG is just great. I’ll go through a whole campaign, then take a break for a while before coming back full force haha. And I am with you on Marvel United, I love the game and my kids are just getting to the age for it to be perfect for them.

Hearing Daniel talk about AH: LCG so much makes me feel like I should prioritize picking up Dunwich for a solo campaign this next year... And Marvel United really does hit all the criteria for a great game to play with kids, I anticipate a LOT of plays for me in the next decade haha. -Ryan

Both skull king and marvel united are on my shelf of shame right now. Need to get them played! Marvel united I got some really good deals and got base game, spiderverse, and X-Men for around 32 bucks all said and done. Excited to give it a go. Most recent purchases I've made are heat pedal to the metal, El grande and akropolis. Siked to get some new games. Now to find the time......

Nice Marvel United deal! We had El Grande a long long time ago, but I am interested in the new edition as I think I'd appreciate it more now. Time is definitely the limiting resource. 🙃 -Ryan

Super fun LOTR recap, sounds epic

Epic is the right word haha, always fun to recount the narrative that played out. If you like trick taking games and Lord of the Rings, the new Fellowship of the Ring: Trick-Taking Game may be worth a look! -Ryan
