Alex I'm a fan of you but this video is begging for the haters to jump in. First of all, the title of this video is supposed to be fit for everyone "3 bulking benefits" which is a very general approach yet you say over and over in your vid that all of what you say is according to your opinion. Which is not a bad thing if you clarified it from the start. If removing the video and making it a bit better is not an option then i suggest just edit that it's all according to your opinion or i would recommend change the title. By using such vague terms and then throughout the video stating that it's all your opinion is a little bit misleading. I've seen a lot of people go after you and i don't want to full their fuel because you make great content and have inspired me to work my ass off and lift heavy.

I bulked for 3years straight from just starting the gym and at the beginning of 2018 at the peak of my bulk I weighed 240lbs at 6,2 and hit a 182.5kg bench press which was my goal, now I’ve cut down to 190lbs and lost a lot of strength but it’s what happens. Just have to slowly build back up and surpass your lifts but at a lower body weight

Do a basic strength programm ( i dont know if you are a novice but i assume that you are one) stronglifts, startingstrength , alex's novice, jason blaha's novice all those are good programs. Pull ups are actually a very athletic and challenging movement if done correctly and actually has the potential to grow many parts of your body apart from the back (such as arms and forearms for ex). I do agree rows might be more complete for back, but if I were to do one of these for the rest of my life it would defintely be the pull up (beneficial for both athletic/aesthetic purpose)

@@PP-xj7vg I would definitely prefer the pullups if I had to choose. To me it's more athletic because you move the body through space. Plus it's hard as hell. Weighted pullups are a great mass builder as well. Done correctly with dead hang, scapular retraction etc, it's very safe.

I like bear mode except 15-18% bodyfat because I like what it signals. You're a strong powerful man who doesn't obsess over his body and lives a balanced life. I feel more masculine because cutting entails a lot of effort and suffering and I don't want to go through all that just to impress women a little bit more. I already have my pick of the liter, so now I just focus on enjoying my training and eating whatever tasty food I want. Beer is drunken in grand quantities as well!

Another benefit to point out about having a higher body fat percentage, Alex, is that being an OVERALL strong human being isn't just the physical power one can produce, but also to be much more capable of HEALING physical wounds much quicker, being able to conquer FAMINE at any given point in time due to the available fat stores, and most of all, to BE CONSISTENT and FLEXIBLE within your everyday living-- sealing connectivity and feasts that mend SOCIAL bonds. I feel that big neck is making my face look fat. The sternocleidomastoid muscles grow outwards and stretches the skin over my jawline. I have a chiseled face, will I ruin it by big neck? Why Vin Diesel or Tom Hardy have double chin? They had chiseled faces earlier.

You should definitely do cardio a few days a week. Nothing major required. Just take a brisk walk a few times a week for 45 minutes or so. No need to run or go crazy on the stair climber at the gym. This will take care of your heart and keep the body fat down a bit. You should really control your body that level primarily with your nutritional plan. Cardio is really just like a final polish and equally for your cardiovascular state in and out of the gym. Good luck! Oh yeah, this is just my opinion but works for me and also my buddies.

Well for newbies ...yes ,you have to bulk to look big ...but if you have 5 years of training experience or more ...you should be able to look big ( not massive with 3d looking roided muscles but much bigger than the average person) with or without a shirt even when you're 10-12% bodyfat ...it is attainable naturally unless you have very bad genetics or you didn't eat nor work out properly ...

I'm not saying you won't look bigger in bear mode ,all im saying is you should still look big by normal people and natural lifters standards if you have a decent number of years of lifting under your belt regardless of what bf you're at...But bear mode doesnt work for everyone ,for some people including myself we gain most of our bf in the mid section and love handles because of bodyfat distribution genetics, we look so freaking ugly with a huge fat ass waist that overshadaows all of the other bodyparts...you on the other hand look great on bear mode bro even without a shirt, because from what I noticed you don't hold a lot of bf in ur love handles and lower belly ...I've been lifting for 8 to 9 years and I tried almost everything including bear mode for years and I can say it's not the way to go for me anymore,I'd rather clean bulk and stay around 15 to 17% bf max...but that's just me ...to each his own lol

Hasan you're basically a skinny fat guy right now,I assume you're a beginner then my advice to you is to clean bulk ,you will gain weight rapidly and it's gonna mostly be muscles because you will be in the noob gains phase ,so make the most out of it ...losing fat is easy, it takes like 3 months to lose 20lbs of fat but years to gain 20lbs of muscles ...so yeah bulk first and don't worry about cutting until you have a decent amount of muscle mass...Get a good hypertrophy and strength training program ,hit your daily protein needs ,and eat in a 200-400 caloric surplus...you will be just fine ...I had almost the exact same stats as you when i was 17 (60kg 176cm 16% bf ) i've reached 91kg in bear mode and ,now im 78kg (and still same height lol)at 11 % bf ...I never worried about cutting in my first years of lifting and thats what allowed me to gain like 20kg of pure muscles...

dirtyhead_ miguel do a strict diet 500-1000 calories a day(1 meal). For a few weeks maybe a few months and you will see drastic results and will be looking a lot better and way more healthy

I definitely think it's possible. My beard looks thicker than when I was on it, and I think that has to due with age. They say that there are more gains after the minox journey due to genetics. I believe that to be true and I'm seeing it with me.

I'm bulking right now and am noticing my weight going up. 12.7 bodyfat right now and honestly, I'd be ok with gaining a little fat in addition to muscle. 15% bodyfat with more muscle and strength sounds a lot better than staying this lean and making super slow muscle/strength gains. I've always been skinny and it sucks lol.

Honestly I think natural bodybuilders should remain at 10-15% body fat. There is no way you will look big at 5% body fat and be natural (unless you are a freak of nature with naturally high testosterone levels or something like that

For me I’d rather look huge in a t shirt and have a slightly fatter waist ...if I could wave a magic wand I would take a strongman physique over a bodybuilder any time ,abs and veins mean sod all to me I like to look like I lift when I’m wearing clothes ,I know loads of ripped guys who disappear in a work shirt but look amazing with their top off I’ll take thick arms ,back and chest with a “fat” waist every time I went from 370 super fat to 180 and was just as unhappy at 180 I felt like a twig from 220 downwards I kept thinking I’ll stay this size and get leaner but I just disappeared lol and although I was lean I didn’t feel like I was muscular ,I thought why’ve i lost that last 40lbs and put it back on quick enough though 😂

Ezequiel Pérez You have to drop your bf first man. If you're a beginer you can lose fat while also putting on muscle so you don't have to waste your time (The surplus of fat will also help with this).

what would you say in terms of the bulking mode (15-20%) for people who are athletes, by that, I mean cyclists or running enthusiasts. Would you still recommend a fluffier state or to cut down to a solid 12-13%?
