dont understand why when at start of project the yarn tied around balloon turns to blue when you pop balloon ?

Hi Maggie! The balloon needs to sit overnight to stiffen, so we used the blue yarn balloon that we had previously made the day before instead of the new pink yarn balloon.

the blue is hidden by the white paste until it dries clear and the color shows I believe. Hope that helps
