Hi Mr.Scwartz, I was your student 7-8 years ago starting out the guitar for the first time, your free courses taught me the fundamentals and basics! I recently moved onto fingerstyle guitar and even starting my own youtube channel. I will never forget and thank you enough for teaching me and pointing me in the right direction. I just stumbled upon your channel again and can't believe you're still at it! Your lessons are so valuable I can't thank you enough. Hope you are doing well!

I don’t say this much about stuff but, seriously thank you Marty. Recently I finished/am still practicing your introduction to blues lesson. I have been “playing” guitar for a long time now, and you really gave me that push I needed to seriously learn. The smile I got from playing those first chords/licks up and down the neck, and hearing the beauty of them come through the amp, it’s priceless. I finally feel like I now know I can get over the humps of learning guitar. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to shred like you! I’m 100% this time about it, just wanted to thank you for the push.

Hey Marty! I have a question. The Taylor Acoustic Guitar I’ve seen you use for a lot of the tutorials I’ve watched, what strings do you use? Because I really love the sound that the guitar produces. Are they elixir strings by chance?

Ok.....you saved yourself when dropped the word SOUTHER ROCK along with countryish style lol......otherwise you was gonna get a huge lecture on how that's not country but more like LYNYRD SKYNYRD and the ALLMAN BROTHERS style playing. Southern rocks finest.
