We have a local place called Durant here in Oregon that presses the BEST evoo in several different varieties (the Tuscan is my favorite), as well as infused garlic, lemon, and others. They also produce a KILLER balsamic in many flavors including pomegranate and champagne, as well as others. You can drive up and taste everything before you buy. I could go broke at this place. You can also buy Olive trees, which will take many years before fruiting depending on the variety and age. Unfortunately, you can't get olive wood because the trees are too young. It takes hundreds of years before you can harvest olive wood in a size that makes anything substantial.

Dear Gordon, when you say 1/2 bottle of tomato sauce, do you mean ketsup as we call it here in the US? Been to England many times lovely friends there and when we are at a meal together someone might say "pass the tomato sauce please" and that someone will hand over the ketsup. I tried your recipe for butter chicken, had the video in the kitchen and followed along. I must say it was fabulous with ketsup! Also I did not have any heavy cream but used a small block of goat cheese melted through. Delicious and I thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Absolutely not. You can go to the grocery store and buy “tomato sauce.” It’s not Ketchup at all
