I always wanted one of these trucks since they came out when I was in high school.. Tomorrow I’m buying a 2001 sport with the 360. Rust free Arizona truck. White with black stickers and tinted windows. I’m definitely adding led lights. Seems the stock housings all clouded

An idea for a under $300 mod is the OEM style seat covers that Geno's Garage just came out with and new cushion. I just did mine and it looks like factory new seat bottoms.

I got a 95. Ram 1500 4x4 single cab short bed with a 3 inch rough country lift so I have a total of 6in lift because all the 2nd gen 4x4 trucks are 3 inch from the factory. And it does alright with a bigger tire. But the stock 5 lug wheel hubs hate big wheel and tires. So I want to get the Dana 60-80 2500 axles under it

that leveling kit is not a body/ "hockey puck" lift. It's just a coil spacer. the "hockey puck" lifts are little round body lift blocks that go between the body mounts.

Hey I need HELP just bought a 00 2nd Gen 4x4 auto with a 318 in it and it will start sometimes and others it won’t and then if you let it sit for 20 minuets it will fire right up and the od time it will start and run like it’s only firing on 4 cylinders.

Nice older Dodge trucks there. Just some observations and I know these are past the $200 mark: - 3/4 ton RAMs w/ powerful diesel motors w/o a hitch to t-o-w anything = looks, over function, of what a truck is to be? - Cool wide tires, but no fender flares or possible mudflaps to keep from hitting other motorist's vehicles w/ debris? Nice mention of the tint as I wanna do that to the 1998 RAM that I got here. Good video & thank you for the great under $200 mod. ideas!

Nice dodge, I have had my 2nd Gen for 19 years and it's been very reliable with a 318, but The dash board and all the plastic under it is giving out bad, is there any good mods for the dash boards?

They have dash board covers that are a thin plastic piece, get that and throw a cover on top of the dash and you're solid. Been rebuilding my new-to-me 96 12 Valve.

Good morning/afternoon, well I have a 2011 that I have since I was stationed in fort Jackson SC. This puppy have been put to use, bought it in SC in 2013 with 50k and now it has 198974 in it. She’s still kicking and just back from Disney for the second time with no problem. But I want it to convert to 4x4. What is your suggestion, I just retired from the military, doing this project and want to keep it for long term. Let me know and so far y’all are the only one that I found that talks about ram.

Did you have any issues with the led third brake light not turning off? I bought one and it doesn't turn off so i disconnected it. I was told i need some sort of reducer. Any suggestions?

I found the one I got was wired wrong. I had to actually open it. The light switch disconnects the ground and not the hot so when you turn off the lights it doesn't turn off that third light cause they had wired the inside so everything went to chassis ground. I had to flip the wiring in the one I bought.

@@50chevydeluxe Well inside the light they wired it so it goes to chassis ground. That would keep the light on 100% of the time. The switch connects the ground. All I can say is get the Chilton or Hanes book and check the wiring. Sorry I can't help further.

RayFire51 all u need to do is wash them off every 2 weeks and ur good. But if u live in Michigan like me it’s hard to do because of the salt but I been keeping my truck rust free since I got it and was rust free before I got it to.

Both levelling kits are suspension lifts. Those are not hockey puck lifts. Hockey pucks go under your body mounts on the frame. 2 under rad, 4 under body and 6-8 under the box depending on short box or long box.
