Best boat (and I looked/visited with all of the shops)- Beavertail Strike with a 70HP. Comp specs to a Hells Bay Professional. $47K. Dont like Maverick because you have to pay 30% markup to deal with some lazy dealer who's busy trying to sell wakeboarding boats.

Wouldn’t pay that money for any boat. Damn it’s just fishing. The fish can’t tell what type of boat you are fishing out of. Fishing at onetime was a poor man’s way to enjoy the day with family or friends. They have gotten ridiculous with their prices. People will take loans out and go into debt to keep up with the next guy.

Your not even correct in half of your statements. Maverick didnt creat anything, there was the super skiff and banana river skiffs and dont forget willy robert's wood skiffs. Google chris morejohn and helsbay youll get most of the story. And look at your prices, only one close was the chittum at $150 and thats from fanboys! Didnt even speak of drake that would be more expensive than the hells bay and its full carbon. And if you fish like this you most likely respect everything about it, water, land, everything. Captains for clean water!!! Plenty o flats boats under 30k that can put you on most of the same spots. Be safe and tight lines!
