I was in branson not too long ago and went northeast of the town through the mark twain forest preserves..... some of the prettiest views I have seen for sure. I wanted to go more south west around the areas you are talking about but this was during the heat wave and my parents definitely needed time to take a break. The ride we did wasn't too bad about 2 hrs of a ride and a little over 87 miles.. Route started and ended at the Hilton on Hwy 76 in branson.. went east/north to Seneca township, then continued to then go more north to Lead hill township, then south to South linn township, then to 3090 stone rd, merriam woods. From there it was a choice, you could stay on back roads or go to the hotel.. we decided to go back to the hotel. Mom is still getting used to her trike and the distance.. plus again it was like 95 and it was pushing close to 1130 at the time. so was getting hotter.. but recommend going through there.. There is even a motorcycle "park" in there. looked like some off road trails etc. Love these options and definitely will take a look at this. Thank you for the content as always cheers.

Hwy 62 Eureka to Rogers is over rated, in my opinion. The road itself has some fantastic traits. My issue is that there is too much traffic on the road. My frustration of getting stuck behind slow traffic overtakes my enjoying the road. My suggested route: Starting in Rogers: 12 to 23, south to 74 to Kingston to 21(74) south to 43 east to Ponca to 74 again, continue to Japser. At Jasper south on 7 to 374. Follow 374 to 123 south. Follow 123 south the entire length to Lamar. Lamar west to Clarksville. At Clarksville north on 103 to 215. Can hit Oark cafe on 215. West on 215 to 23. 23 north back to hwy 12 and on to Rogers.

Met this dude at Bikers Blues and bbq 2024. Awesome motherfucker! Had to beat the rain, but I wish we could have stayed out for the party, man. Hopefully, I run into you again. By the way, I agree with the top routes here. Great food in Jasper.
