I had Otter Box Defender case on my iPhone 4s-6. They had way more color options then. I had the hunter cammo with orange trim. They dont make that color option anymore unfortunatly just the three boring ones to chose from now.

I have a sparkly clear Symmtery and I love it! I've used Symmtery since my iPhone 7+ four years ago and it's what I swear by. Since the Otter Pop's Pop Socket is too high for me, I just add a Pop Socket of my own, and I'm good to go. Though, personally I can use my phone without one and don't find it too slick, I just much prefer having one.

Do you have small hands? I'm worried about the pop socket being up too high as well. They say up high is best for selfies, but down low is best for texting and general use. But when I tried to add two to my last phone it was just too much.

I love your reviews. So honest. I actually bought an OtterPop but sent it straight back. Just too bulky for me. I much prefer Tech21 cases. I noticed you don’t review them often but my experience with them has always been positive. I think I’ve had one of their cases on every iPhone I’ve ever owned and they’ve all lived to tell the tale. I like the robustness of the Otterbox but for me it was a no.

I have always used just the Defender on all my phones since about 2014/2015 and I am honestly tired of the designs and colors. It's very protective, which is why I always choose it, but maybe have more color selections, or a mix and match option, and add a lanyard hole.

I loved the Pursuit Series (for iPhone XR). I loved the seemingly good combination of robustness (materials, cushion, raised above screen) and size (not too bulky with good mix of slip for pockets but grip for hands). Which case for iPhone 11 would be most similar to Otter Pursuit Series? Which case by another brand would be most similar to Otter Pursuit Series?

I was torn between the symmetry and the otterpop, but I ultimately had to go with the symmetry because I don't like compulsory bumps. I'd rather it be optional/removable. I know you can technically take it off, but then you have a convex bump the other way and I'd rather the back of my phone be smooth... and Iron Man. The design really wasn't considered until AFTER I decided to go with it. All other cases are too bulky/I don't like clear cases.

I bought new Otterbox defender for my new iPhone 11 & quality in my opinion is different way too stiff, with cheaper plastic. Do not like & I have had the older defenders on phones for years. I am afraid to even force phone into this case. Will try Strada. Jeanne

Great video! The only problem I have with the otter pop is the fact that, because it’s inset it won’t work as a kickstand. It is also a tighter fit than the usual pop socket addition to a regular case. Which keeps my fingers from fitting under it. That is probably due to my thick sausage fingers. That aside I do love the idea of the case. I like that you are so thorough with your reviews. Thank you for all the work you do. You are inspiring. So thank you for that as well. Take care. @@sahft5638 I have some advice. Go on amazon and type in gear 4 case. Its the black one. Its a very affordable. I bought mine at the AT&T store for the XR for $48 but right now they have a similar case on amazon for only $13. Its very durable snd doesnt heat up your phone. It has 16ft of drop protection and its an amazon choice. I hope this helps 😀

They can’t compare to the speck candyshell or presidio grip cases. Not only are they highly protective and very reasonably priced, but you really have to try hard to drop them or have them slip off a surface. Look at them and you’ll never get an otterbox

Apparently some people had bad experiences with the otterbox symmetry case as there’s no shock absorbency at the back and their phones CRACKED!! I think I’ll be using my nomad active rugged case and the caudabe sheath case. I’m also sad that they’ve stopped making Commuter Wallet case. I’m still using an iPhone 6S and I commute always via train everyday and my train card is in it and it’s very convenient for me. Then again I’ll never forget my phone. I’ve also dropped it several times (one time in the rail track..lol) and it has proven its sturdiness. I was not even worried if my phone screen got broken. I already know it won’t happen. Hehe.

As a big fan of clear cases, I really hate how greasy and gross clear cases seem to get over all other cases because the materials that clear cases need. In the future, you should mention the grease factor on different cases!

How do y’all feel about commuter vs symmetry/otter pop? I had an otter pop on mine, but I didn’t feel like it was as protective as the commuter. I had a xs for almost two years and had dropped it multiple times, but there were no cracks or scratches, thanks to the commuter case. So, how does the otter pop symmetry stack up against the commuter with a pop socket on it?(considering popsockets makes a wireless charger now)

I had experience where my ipad drop with the screen face down and it cracked. I always want to see if the raised edges is high enough to protect the screens, however, I always see review or picture of the back of the case.

I don't like the Arctech slim. Handles extremely poorly. The THX edition is fine as a case, waiting for my thermal camera to show up to see if the cooling feature is actually measurable. My laser thermometer didn't show any changes.
