After several decades in business they have been through this a lot and there is really no point to keep thniking back. Learn from it and move on. Also remember, 20 million is big but probably not enough for them, since they only get part of it anyway. Calculate together with the risk at the beginning is also important. Maybe the value is not worth the risk.
