I have used both red tape running shoes and sneakers and i can say that thier sneakers are very bad in quality but thier sports shoes are very durable and good quality i have using one pair for 2 continuous years and it's still going strong however some parts of that have faded in colour

Uk8.5 would have been perfect for you but if you don’t mind a little roomy fit so you can try uk 9 if that works better
