Kinda bummed not to see Stellar Assault SS on this list at all. It's easily one of the system's better attempts at full 3D and surely its best flight sim, and was a much more involved (and complete) translation project than many of the games featured here. Not to diminish any of these, that's just the nature of the games. We leapt straight into SASS after wrapping the Bulk Slash fan project, and turned around a complete loc patch plus new peripheral support within like fifteen months.

@ true but the Saturn version came out first and it runs at a way better framerate and looks better across the board except for the fmv stuff where it’s higher quality on ps1

I think Shining Force III-1 was translated without the fans. Was this a more faithful translation, on this list? Either way, the games all look like they are worth looking into, thanks 👍

Your right, it was released in english, but the dialogue was changed to imply it was a stand alone game, as there were no plans to convert parts 2&3. So the Japanese version was fan translated so you could play all 3 scenarios as intended. However the English and Japanese versions do play out the same, so you can actually transfer your English save file from part one and continue it into Japanese parts 2 & 3.
