Ok, so here is MY take on it (just to mention, I am using only the players in the video and making some changes here and there and add my reasoning to some of them so please don't be too offended or..you know what? I am almost certain you are going to say all kinds of shit so just go ahead and curse me all you want) 30-Ibrahimovic (he just isn't as impressive as the next players on the list and he wouldn't have been here if I could choose my own players) 29. Iniesta 28. Xavi (I intended to put him a little higher on the list but changed my mind) 27.Baggio 26. Gullit 25. Charlton 24 Matthaus 23. Zico (again.. thought about putting him higher but I couldn't let myself take the place of some of the next players) 22. Henry (arguably THE BEST player in the Premier league era a goal machine I think this is a good place) 21. Maldini (one of my favorite defenders of a time I understand if you would put him somewhere like top 15 but for me..this is a good place for him) 20. Meazza 19. Platini 18. Zidane ( a great player, with a great morality but he was a little inconsistent he was either a lion or a kitten on the pitch and this is why he is only 18th for me) 17. Best (washed up at 26 or something around those lines, without the drinking problems, most likely he would have been in my top ten, the only thing keeping him here is his pure talent) 16. Van Basten (like Best he ended his career pretty early but due to injuries not alcohol, I have a feeling that he didn't show us his best but in the games he played..16th is good) 15. Yashin (the best goalkeeper ever, the only one to win a balloon d'or and a little underrated by many.. the most penalties saved, a .68 clean sheet ratio he would let in less goals in a season then some current world class keepers in a month, completely revolutionised the KG position ) 14. Romario 13. Garrincha 12. Ronaldinho (I really wanted to squeeze him in the top 10 but just couldn't) 11. Gerd Muller 10. Beckenbauer (hands down the best defender of all time) 9. Di Stefano ( a great player but not better than Puskas or the other players coming up imo, but good enough to make my top 10) 8. Ronaldo (if not for injuries, he would have been EASILY in top 5 maybe even 1st but unfortunately.. injuries and his weight stopped him from reaching his full potential.. in his prime tho he was a lethal forward , incredibly fast a nightmare to all goalkeepers on the globe) 7. Eusebio ( his position in the video was just outrageous..I could have been pleased with something like 12th or 13th but not even top 20 is outrageous one of the best players of a time, if not for Ronaldo the best Portuguese player of all time the way he was treated.. man, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth) 6. Pelle (oh, boy.. I was scared to put him this low because I know some of you will get very offended by this but hear me out: yes, he did win 3 wc but only played a major role in one of them, he scored a shit ton of goals, some of you will say the defences weren't very good at the time but good defenders were almost nowhere to be seen almost anywhere on the planet so we can't take that away from him he deserves a spot here spot but nothing higher) 5. Puskas (I KNOW this is controversial..maybe I don't have a very good reason to put him this higher than Pelle but scoring goal after goal after goal at almost 40 in a champions league winning team? This is just madness! And I think he deserves it) 4. Cruyff (very underrated especially by EA, this guy was decades ahead of his time his vision, his passing he is just on another level) 3. Maradona (great tehnique very entertaining to watch, I don't have to explain myself too much when ranking him) 2. Cristiano Ronaldo ( do I need to explain myself? This guy is a winning machine, and he is the best example of hard work that payed off, in his youth he wasn't rated as highly as other Portuguese prospects like Quaresma for example but with hard work he changed everyone's mind) 1.
