I've really been itching to replay some Switch games like Xenoblade 3 and Dragon Quest 11, but - aside from those games being massive - I'm also just hoping that Switch 2 will give older games a performance boost, either through next-gen upgrades or some DLSS magic. The thought of playing Xenoblade 3 in 4K60 is mouthwatering... Also, great list Bo! So many good picks. I'd maybe shuffle some placements around, but they all deserved to be on this list. Some other games I would recommend are 13 Sentinels (more Vanillaware peak), Bug Fables (the best Paper Mario game), Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (the best Ace Attorney), AI The Somnium Files (one of the best, most insane murder mysteries ever), and Octopath Traveler (I loved 1 and I've heard 2 is even better) The amount of good games in Switch is honestly kind of hard to believe sometimes, we're really living in a golden era

I wouldn’t put to much faith in dlss really increasing performance… like ps and Xbox with their wild marketing claims I would just keep ur expectations in check but it would be awesome to play xeno 3 with better fidelity

Very good list, Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario Tennis Aces are definitely not for me but good to hear you got your fun out of both of them. I agree heavily on Yoshi's Crafted World being underappreciated, I loved a lot of the music and the game itself for a Yoshi Switch game. Never got the chance to try Wooly World and loved a lot of the levels and world themes for Crafted World.

My local walmart was clearing out Yoshi for $45 the other day and I managed to snag the last one and have been playing non-stop. It’s a top tier game to come home after work and relax with.

So Pokemon violet was the very first ever Pokémon game I’ve ever played and it was very fun and simple which I liked. The battles were intense and overall fun and the open world was cool and cute and the best part was the main Pokémon that you can traverse the world with and climb mountains and glide.. I liked how you can make sandwiches to lure certain Pokémon. Also what glitches is everyone talking about? I didn’t see any. The ending of the game was also pretty cool. It’s just nice to see it’s a fun game that you can actually play and beat without having to go to a KZbin guide every 10 minutes.. I haven’t played any xenoblade games but I’m sure I will have to go to KZbin guide every 10 minutes

With the Arms team also responsible for Mario Kart, I don't think another Arms game is coming soon. Mario Kart is Nintendo's most popular game, and I think they would want more focus on Mario Kart than something else, especially when Mario Kart sold over 20 times that of Arms. Also, my entire top 5 favorite games ever are on Switch, so I think that's kind of awesome.

FE 3 Houses and FE engage basically compliment each other. 3 houses: PROS: Story, characters, ost gameplay(arguable) CONS:lack of battles, graphics, hideous box art. Engage: PROS: gameplay, lots of battles, graphics, great box art CONS: story, characters, ost I do prefer 3 houses as a persona fan, but I understand why you prefer engage.

Interesting list, it’s always nice to see others favorite games on the switch. Really enjoyed seeing Xenoblade in your first 2 top spots❤ especially considering Xenoblade 2 being ranked so high. After playing all three games to completion Xenoblade 2 is hands down my favorite of the trilogy, sure it’s not perfect and it definitely has its issues however I liked it so much more then the other 2 games. Heck I’ve completed X2 6 times and I never touched the others so) the characters the story and the mechanics were just so much more enjoyable for me with Xenoblade chronicles 2 despite the gotcha mechanics of the blades ( though I’ll admit that the combat in 3 was more flushed out and polished) it was just extremely difficult for me to finish Xenoblade 3 because I did not like any of the main characters at all story wise X3 felt like a major back words step in the wrong direction I really wanted to like unicorn overlord 😂 everything I like about games was included in the game, however I can’t get into games that play themselves 👻 not having any control over how the battles played out was a huge disappointment for me. I only ended up playing for about 7 hours and then I sold the game. World have honestly much preferred a port of muramassa the demon blade to unicorn overlord Fire emblem has always been a weird one for me personally my fave game in the series is fates conquest❤ ( now that’s a game I’d love on the switch) really wanted to like three houses as I liked the characters and was intrigued with the story however I only lasted about 8 hours😂 absolutely loved playing fire emblem three hopes and yea I liked it better the three houses hands down. Engage was… a disappointment when I play games it needs to have good likable characters and at least a story I am interested in gameplay mechanics are last for me. Engage missed the mark completely for me as the story was laughable and the characters were just not likable at all. The combat system was excellent however but it still ended up being a game I sold after completing it. Really happy you enjoyed bayonetta 3😂 I was seriously disappointed with it I personally felt that the game was an insult to the player base and the fans of the series as a hole. The mechanics and performance was really good I was actually impressed by that. My issue was the story the ending and the bending to the socially acceptable censorship Bs . The third game was absolutely nothing like the first 2 at all . Improving on the first 2 games and the story and characters is one thing however to completely destroy the characters who are so important to the series they way they did was messed up. If the point was to pass on to the next generation it could have been better executed. I am very happy liked the third game in the series, I actually sold all three games after finishing bayo 3

Engage is good and the gameplay is the best of the series, but to go from such a game like Three Houses that had such great story and lore, new game plus, and complex characters to the most generic JRPG story with the most generic, bland villains in Engage was pretty disappointing. When I replayed Engage on Maddening, I couldn't be bothered with the story again (expect some cool cutscenes like the last chapter) and skipped most of the dialogues and cutscenes. I've never played a game in which I have so strong opposing feelings between the gameplay and story. Because, as you said the gameplay is absolutely incredible and super addicting.

You know I really like your list but here are my Top 10 favorite Switch Games 1. Kirby and the Forgotten Land 2. Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe 3. Kirby's Dream Buffet 4. Kirby Star Allies 5. Miitopia 6. Super Mario Bros Wonder 7. Mario Party Superstars 8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 9. Super Mario Odyssey 10. Super Smash Bros Ultimate So yeah that's my top 10 favorite Switch Games. 32:03 Whatever what the next Kirby game is that HAL is working on if it's a new 2D Kirby game like the new rumor 2D Kirby game leak which is Kirby and the Celestial Stars with that new female Kirby Character that looks related to Susie Haltmann which is Polly or they can show the sequel to Kirby and the Forgotten Land where they have new mouthful modes, new copy abilities and upgrades, and having new playable characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Clawroline. Or they can show full-on remakes of both Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and add new side modes for both Taranza and Susie just like they did with Magolor in Magolor Epilogue. So I hope HAL has something special for Kirby and for us Kirby Fans. And I'm still hoping we get Tomodachi Life on Switch since Miitopia did so great on Switch now it's Tomodachi Life's turn just like how they did with Miitopia.

@@Slime-fz9ml Yeah I know right like it does and seeing dream friend characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee, The Animal Buddies (Rick, Coo, and Kine), Marx, Adeleine and Ribbon, Dark Meta Knight, Daroach, Magolor, Taranza, Susie, and The Three Mage Sisters (Francisca, Flamberge, and Zan Partizanne) so yeah thyat's a pretty cool DLC for Kirby Star Allies I must say.

Kirby Star Allies was the only Kirby game I played, but the Guest Star mode and The Ultimate Choice were GOATed, but it was shame that Kirby wasn’t playable in Guest Star mode. Anyone could be player 1 in the Ultimate Choice, but anyone who wasn’t player 1 couldn’t be Kirby. Adeleine & Ribbon, Marx and Dark Meta Knight were the GOATed dream friends. Meta Knight has an alt referencing Dark Meta Knight in Smash, and I hope Bandana Dee, Marx, Magolor and Adeleine will get in the next Smash game because of their movesets in Star Allies.

I think TOTK really hurt the legacy of BOTW and I don’t think its worth it bc while TOTK is great, its not nearly as impressive as other games to come out the past few years. It feels very “2017.”

Switch sports is terrible. It could’ve easily passed Sports resort but Nintendo did not give it the customization it needed and could use more games. Also Xenoblade 1 over Xenoblade 2

The reason why people hate engage because it's not like the god tier of three houses and that's the same thing with three hopes and very freaking annoying. The only thing I say that is bad about engage is the story is kind of obvious. Like I had to say this on Tik Tok and Twitter like is the same crew who made Fire Emblem three houses and people are so mad about how much it's not like three houses. I'm like they tried to do something different can you allow them to do something different people everyone who is a huge fan of only Fire Emblem three houses: no. Also for the love of God can people not harass me in the comments saying oh but Fire Emblem engages sucks everything the art style looks horrible, the character designs look horrible, The voice cast horrible shut up just I'm just going to say it if you say all that please just shut the living heck up. I know it's your opinion but, I like the game. I like Fire Emblem engage is not one it's one of my top three favorite games it is currently in third place please for the love of God no okay just don't be harassing me in the comments. Also please don't be making fun of how I type it's just text to speech.
