Thanks for the horror list! I wishlisted almost everything. I have tried a few demos here and there and I agree that Conscript is just awesome, it would also be my Nº1. Holstin was also a nice horror experience, but I still need to see how the action gameplay will be. Hollowbody had great atmosphere and I think Resident Evil fans will love it. Whisper Mountain Outbreak was a great co-op survival horror experience, but I am also curious about any kind of rebalance depending on the amount of players. Broken Veil has been around for a while... I just hope they fix the glitches by the release. I knew you would have Crow Country really high on this list... It just wasn't my thing... Controls were waaaaaay too retro. A few other you might want to check out are Eclipsium (first person psychedelic pixel art), Demon Spore (horror action roguelike), The Foretold: Westmatk Legacy (Horror RPG mixed with deckbuilder), Terror at Oakheart (2D Survival horror), Tenebris Somnia (I wasn't a big fan, but you might be interested in the retro vibes) and then I don't know if Menace From The Deep counts as horror, because it's deckbuilder roguelite. Then there are other games that I am not really sure if they are indie or not, like Indika, Dark Fracture or Luto.

I was doubting about this one since I suck at horror games, but Begone Beast and The Lost Wild look great! I'm also quite interested in the leveling mechanics of Deep Sleep. Enigma of Fear also looks good, but I'm not a fan of conserving ammo. Every monster has to be put down, no exceptions.

You know what? I'd like to see someone do a survival horror RTS game for once. Closest thing we got to this was Homeworld Cataclysm the moment The Beast appears.

There was on one of these videos beautiful pixelated 2d horror game stylized characters had big heads and there was vibrant colors that I can't find now.

Not that it relates to anything (aside from Power Drill Massacre) but, there's a fairly famous grindhouse film from 1979, _The Driller Killer_ about...well, I'm sure you get the idea. I'm half-curious if the developers are actually aware of the film or not, as they only mention VHS slasher films on their Steam page, and the premise is quite different.

Agree about the FPS horror games. I think the world could do without any more asset store "suburban hallway simulator" games. I swear I laugh whenever I see a new thumbnail on youtube because I honestly can't tell if they're just recycling the same hallway image for three dozen different games. But I am also tired of the endless PS1-style games too.

I'm an absolute pussy when it comes to *playing* horror games, but I manned up for Alien: Isolation, and it's nice to see more games like it. I've been thirsting for Routine forever, and its original development was so tragic. I hope it actually comes out, since an engine swap is typically the deathknell of any game.
